“Have been to this location twice now while on holiday from Saskatoon. Leopolds Broadway in Saskatoon is my spot of choice and while in Edmonton Strathcona is a home away from home. My bartender was fantastic , she was very attentive and even open to banter about the ridiculous virtual golf league on the tv. 10/10 recommend as a sober person !“

“Review: Time Out Pub – South Edmonton Tucked away in a residential area near Argyle on the south side of Edmonton, Time Out is a hidden gem of a sports pub. It’s not far out of the way and just a cheap Uber ride for a great night out. The vibe is laid-back, the drinks are cheap, and the pool tables are even cheaper. I recently visited the Original Joe’s location and had one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time, all thanks to our server, Amanda.
From the second we sat down, Amanda greeted us with a massive, genuine smile that immediately made us feel at home. She was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, checking in at the perfect moments to ensure our drinks were topped up and that we had everything we needed.
What really stood out was her knowledge of the menu. She gave us a fantastic recommendation for the Cajun Chicken Burger and even suggested adding jalapeños for an extra kick—it was spot on! Even though the restaurant started to get busy, she remained perfectly calm and professional, making sure our food arrived hot and exactly as ordered.
It’s rare to find a server who truly goes the extra mile to make your night special, but Amanda did exactly that. If you're heading to OJ's, definitely ask for her section“

“Came during the day for a coffee because the cafes were closed and I needed to get out of the rain. They have a good food menu and they operate in tandem with the restaurant next door. The owner and staff were super friendly, gave me coffee on the house and free refills (I didn't even realize until after I left). The food was delicious and they were super friendly even though I didn't buy any alcohol this time. Made my day, I'd go back any day for a drink.“

“Opus is a great little pub with pool tables and lots of dart boards. The food is good, they have decent wings, and the pizza was tasty too. We were super impressed with the bartender Michelle, she was doing 5 things at once and still managed to be attentive to customers and check in on us at the table when we were eating. She was a pleasure to deal with, her attitude and smile are infectious! We will definitely come back another Saturday night to play darts and get some wings!“

My friend and I stopped by your location on the evening of June 13th and I just want to say thank you to the security guy that was working that night, he made us feel SOOOO comfortable and safe. When a drunk guy decided to join our table he kindly escorted him out after warning him of social distancing. He also cleaned off our table and asked us if we needed anything. “We've just moved to the city about a year ago and it's our first time to come here. We are not a pub/bar kind of people, but if we go, we go for the amazing food and service. “We ordered take out. Minor issues (side salad missing). Called the restaurant and someone drove it to the house! I was very impressed with the service and their willingness to make it right (they also offered a credit if I no longer wanted the salad). The food was good and overall the meal was enjoyable. The food is pretty good (the mac and cheese and Sandwich with ham and mustard is good) but, the food at regular price is very expensive, especially on a student budget. Still, if you want to enjoy events such as trivia, kereoke, and a pool table, you only need to spend 5$ for a small food item or drink on the happy hour menu and then just stick around to enjoy the atmosphere. I also think it's great that the place creates convenient-to-reach jobs on campus for students who may need extra money during the semester.“

Jay the Mercenary, Fu Manchu, Metal Jay, Phil the Electric Trip, and the Necromancer DJ were and perhaps still are solid staples of this fine establishment. Notable guests include the Red Witch, the Shaman, the Ranger, Mike of Whyte, Brad the Barbarian, and the Zombie Master. Lots of good music as well. I would recommend this pub.“

“My husband and I went to The Moon Cafe and Pizza yesterday (18thSeptember), we had the best lunch we have had in a long time.
