Enjoyed the ambience and one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the city.
Have been back many times and never once had a bad meal.

If it’s good enough for John Candy, Gretzky and a wall full of other people that can afford to eat anywhere then it is sure good enough for me. Always delicious authentic fresh and great service 30+ years customer.

This place has the best Chinese food! One of the perks of Edmonton! Friendly staff, food is kept warm on the table so you don’t need to rush. Definitely a hidden gem that is close to my heart.

All these years going by and finally stopped in. What an amazing place - great food, great service, nice atmosphere, large portions for great prices-and free refills on pop, so my kids loved it. Oh, and they have vegan-friendly and gluten free options! A lot of the food comes in serving dishes kept warm with candles, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal without things going cold. The owners were so kind explaining some new menu items they have, as well as some history of the 60 year old family-run business. We will be back!

Haven’t been here in years (mostly just lunch). Took the kids for dinner. Atmosphere takes you back (in a good way) - well maintained and meticulously clean, probably looks and feels the same way it did 60 years ago. Service feels that way too (server spun a hot cloth onto our finger at the end of the meal). Shanghai noodles had actual barbecued pork that tasted like ribs. Ginger beef was actually gingery (surprise) and despite being in a lot of sauce, somehow, against the laws of culinary physics, maintained its crispness throughout the meal. We’ll be back again and again.

We love ordering takeout from Blue Willow and always enjoy it. Today however, the mushroom chicken balls tasted off. Not sure if the recipe has been altered or someone seasoned it wrong but was not good at all. It’s usually our favourite so we were disappointed. Hopefully they go back to the way it used to be prepared.

Amazing restaurant with friendly staff and great menu with great prices! Ordered multiple dishes really liked the Shanghai noodles with beef and beef and black bean sauce and the fried rice was great to!

The triple threat of hot, fresh and delicious! I found the portions to be generous and the menu offered great variety; there is something for everybody. The restaurant has a unique vibe unlike any other in Edmonton. There's lots of memorabilia to look at for the hockey enthusiast. The leftovers I took home really hit the spot the next day.
