Bodega Tapas & Wine Bar Reviews
We go to the Ellerslie location fairly often; it's the perfect motorbike ride or fun car drive from our house. Everything we've tried there is excellent, the staff is super friendly and attentive. Try the mussels...
Excellent food and service!!!!
This place is one of a kind. Tasty food and cocktails, and plenty of good wines to choose from (just ask if you’re not sure which to go with)! Impeccable and friendly service, all the servers alongside Tristan and Ainsley are warm, welcoming, and go above & beyond to make your time at Bodega a memorable one. Bodega Tapas & Wine Bar provides a memorable dining experience with consistently delicious food and quality drinks. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a great location. It is a more casual and relaxed version of Sabor, Edmonton’s well-known Spanish and Portuguese restaurant, and has multiple locations around the city. The service has been mixed at times, with some servers offering helpful recommendations and others being slower or making inappropriate comments. However, most diners have enjoyed their visits, praising the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The seafood is often highlighted as incredible, and the flavors are considered worth the price. The original location does not take reservations but features a beautiful bar area and bistro-style al fresco dining during warmer months. Customers have appreciated the warm bread with tomatoes tapenade, grilled meats and seafood, and dishes like paella, artichokes, and bacon figs, which combine sweet and salty flavors. Many mention that the seating is first come, first served, and the atmosphere is lively and fun, with some noting great service that made their experience even better. Despite minor issues like bugs and wait times, most agree that Bodega remains a favorite, with many customers planning to return.
