“Visited Tea Bar Cafe as part of CTC's Sweet Side of Chinatown tour. We sampled both their milk tea with pearls and their bubble waffle. Both were really delicious. The milk tea in particular had a really nice and complex flavour.
The cafe itself was super cute. I loved the decorations and tiles. I heard they do kareoke here sometimes and I will difenitely be coming back sometime so I can experience that.“

“Cute boba shop with unique flavours and toppings including this Sakura lychee drink with Sakura jelly. Tasted really good but full sweet was definitely too much for me. I didn't know sweet level could be adjusted until after they made it so make sure to ask.“

We tried peach, passion fruit, cranberry, mango and milk tea flavors with coconut, leechi, Boba, etc. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — taste and quality in every sip. The texture of the pearls was just right, and the drink itself was refreshing without being overly sweet. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone who loves good boba and great service.
Tip: it was fun to try some games at the back of the shop.

“It was our first time visiting Tea Spot and it's tucked away in a small plaza on the second floor.
We got their House Milk Tea with 0% sugar and less ice. The employee helping us was so kind and provided input when we asked her about how sweet their drinks are. They batch make the house milk tea so it's already sweetened, therefore 0% sugar was the right amount for us. It has a decent milk tea flavour but the tea taste could be stronger in our opinion. Their tapioca pearls are perfect, it's chewy and ever so slightly sweet which we loved.
We also got the Jasmine Milk tea with 25% sugar and less ice. The employee told us this drink is not sweetened like the house milk tea which I appreciated. The milk tea flavour itself was not my favourite, it tasted quite watered down if anything. When I got home the drink was already separating as you can see in the photo which was off-putting. I definitely wouldn't order this again to be honest.
While the drinks we ordered were just so-so, perhaps we didn't order the right drinks at this spot?? We might return to try their smoothies or fruit teas next time. We did enjoy their pearls though and customer service is great.“

“Tried out THE BOBA INFINITEA for the first time.
Cute little bubbletea spot and we ordered in advance as there was a 5% off when you order $15 or more, so why not.
Added crystal balls on top of the tapioca(pearls) that came free with the drink and the crystal balls came in a separate cup, sealed. Not sure if it’s suppose to be like this or if it’s suppose to be added in the drink.
Other than that, the drink tasted great. Ordered the Taro Cloud and Matcha Froth Delight.
Great value for their drinks as well.“

“After return several times AND ordering online, i’ve come to a conclusion that yam yam consistently provides cheap and quality serving sizes every time! it’s a great spot for lunch or after school, and the food tastes delicious! the place is very clean, well decorated and the workers are always very pleasant and even bring the food to the table for me! (which i do not expect since it’s more of a “fast food” or “self serve, seat yourself” setting) i will be ordering regularly“

I tried for the first time at this venue. The customizable option available there helped to make the order with my preferences.
I visited on a busy day and was a bit worried about the order time. I got my order in a quick time without facing endless waiting. Appreciate the service provided by the staff person who said her name was Cat. She handled my order and it was absolutely spot-on.
The taste of the bubble tea was great, service was fantastic. I would say, this is a better place for a bubble tea in downtown, Edm.“

“Fast shipping and nice service. My package arrived home in 2 weeks with pretty affordable pricing.
I came in the store late when it almost closed, but the owner was still very welcoming and kind in receiving my package. She also gave me a ride to the train station.
I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend!“

“this is by far the best bubble tea place I've ever tried in town, even better than the big bubble tea chains. my favorite is the milky mango that has a dreamy velvety consistency that will make your day. I also appreciated that the guy took time to make a beverage for me that was not in the menu and it was amazing! thank you! hope to visit again soon.“

“Tried many places in the area and we love the slushy drinks here. Very fresh and not too sweet (we chose the 30% sugar option).
Cream brulee is also soft and creamy.
This place used to be busy every time we visited but it seems a lot quieter now that we come back.“

“Meh it was ok. We drove half hour to come try it . When the lady brought the food out to our table they gave the kids meal to my husband and his meal to our daughter . We realized when she was done half the burger that it was mixed up , anyways we needed another drink and when I went to go get the canned soda that is advertised on the menu - I was told they don’t have any yet. Didn’t know when either , So I went with a milk shake and a ice tea . Was then told it’s a 15 min wait for a drink. Kinda bunk . Didn’t wait for the drink but kids liked there meal . Tocos we’re ok . the fries were great !“
