My friends and I chose this spot for a little reunion before school started and I couldn’t be happier with our decision!! Our server Somit was amazing. She kept us laughing the whole night. At one point I was tempted to ask her to pull up a chair and join us! That type of energy completely changes the experience. The pesto chicken quesadillas were also so good - definitely my new favorite. I usually go downtown for dinners but I’m so glad we tried this location. I think we’ve officially found our new go to spot!

To say that this place is disappointing would be a severe understatement. Not only do some workers have an attitude, but they act annoyed when they have to actually help you with something. This should be one of the “better” restaurants to work at but they made the hiring process a complete nightmare.

Not only is is a struggle to even get a response from this people in a timely fashion, but the hiring process is completely flawed and a waste of your time. They will bring you in for an interview, and then if they like you they try to do a second interview with you, and if all goes well with that one… you will have a THIRD interview. And then you have to wait to hear back from them and they never have any clear communication with you until the day they decide to call you (which could take weeks). It’s completely ridiculous to do three interviews with one restaurant for a job like server, dish washer, or line cook. Doesn’t feel fair, doesn’t feel like they actually value their employees, and it doesn’t make you want to apply to them again. It completely discourages you to the point where you don’t even want to go back as a customer.

I have had a couple ppl that currently work there tell me that management is very underwhelming. You may not get great hours and they aren’t very flexible, especially if you have to balance a second job to support yourself to make ends meet. VERY disappointing from the cactus club wem. I will not be back, nor will any of my friends.

Do not waste your time, effort, or money here.

we had great service, we had such a nice guy as our server. i had ordered a bacon burger, which was honestly insanely good. until i got home. i clearly got horribleee food poisoning, and i’m assuming from the lettuce. my brother had a burger without lettuce and was fine, but i’m facing horrific side effects!

Our server Somit made our anniversary with my husband so special and enjoyable last night! She’s such a sweetheart and brought so much laughter with her humor. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great steak recommendations as well.

It was easy to make a reservation
It was very comfortable
The menu is fantastic
The staff look professional and there was a huge age range dining here.
My husband had the salmon - tender, seasoned .. really nice!
I had the mushroom strip loin .. and probably got the only grisly steak in the box. I tried 5 or 6 bites and had to put it back on my plate because - grisly. I’ll spare you the details. It was good in the center but 1/3 of the steak was not edible.
Now here is the 5/5 part and why I will go back.
When I brought my concerns to our delightful server she sent over Mo. He listened and asked for clarity. He didn’t make excuses or make me feel like I was imagining things. He offered a Steak to go (I’m in a hotel so that’s a pass.) He offered free dessert (kind gesture) and ultimately apologized and removed the steak from our bill. I saw PLENTY of food coming out and lots of smiles and hearty plates. This is an example of the kind of service that helps you want to back and give them another chance .. and we will!

First time visiting the Cactus Club located adjacent to the West Edmonton Mall, and we were thoroughly impressed! They offer a wide variety of unique food and drink items. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meal and the portion sizes were satisfying. Our server was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She was able to answer questions and make recommendations. We dined on the covered patio and we were seated right next to the open windows. We were quite comfortable and enjoyed the lively and upbeat atmosphere. Overall a great dining experience. I highly recommend if you are looking for a night out with your friends.

Great experience at Cactus Club! The food was delicious & so fresh, and the atmosphere was perfect! Our server Nolan, was so friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Definitely recommend this location to anyone that is in the area!

We made the mistake of booking a reservation for the bar area of the restaurant on a very busy Friday night. The bar area was so loud and we couldn’t hear each other talk. It is probably just another sign that we are getting old but we just couldn’t take the noise of the bar area and there was nothing available in the dining room. We were upset because we had a gift certificate to spend for our anniversary. We were going to leave but then I thought to just place the order for pickup and eat in our vehicle. We got our food and drove to a local park to eat our dinner in the park. The food was absolutely amazing and totally worth the date in the park with take out. I hade the truffle chicken and gnocchi and my wife had the Dijon salmon with butter mashed potatoes. I can’t recommend the food enough. Most people wouldn’t have any issue with the atmosphere but it was too loud and busy for us old people.
Did I mention the food was amazing!!!!

Our server was great, the food was incredible, the steak still bloody, but warm and cooked outside. A tad hit expensive, but that's expected for a premium restaurant. Plus they have biodegradable straws that aren't paper, so they feel like plastic, and don't get mushy.

Always a favourite when we come to Edmonton. Something for everyone, even a picky 9yr old who only likes spaghetti with butter and parm. The service was so bad this trip. 30 min wait for someone to say hi and take our drink order. Super came in an ok time frame but when we wanted our bill another 30 min wait for him to bring us the bill. The photo is the tofu crunch and my daughter loved it but it was too spicy and she will order it again but with the sauce on the side and have the tofu plain.
