Anything from soups to cuts of steak - you won’t be disappointed. The lobster bisque is truly mouthwatering, You should see the size of their chicken wings & do try the in house made chimichurri!

Food made me sick

Very rude owner and we think food made us sick because its the only place we all ate in common that day. When we tried to advise, they took it personally and berated us for trying to give them the heads up of possible food issue.

I went here a couple of times before and thought this place was average, but then I learned how this place doesn’t follow health and safety practices on preparing food, and often sells expired products. Buyer beware!

Just learned that the owners of this place leave raw whole chickens out at room temperature all night to defrost them. Extremely dangerous practices, avoid at all costs if you don't want to end up with food poisoning.

So….. we moved from the centre of the universe (Toronto) to Edmonton. It was like a food desert. Very unfortunate prepared food scene. Horrible. Then we found this little gem called Careit.
Best prepped food in the city. Best brisket I’ve had EVER , fabulous salads, ready to go or cook yourself.
Great service, family values and good , wholesome cooking is the core of the shop.
Careit will always have my business. Perfectly clean.
