Delicious and Fun Hot Pot Experience!

Chili Hot Pot is one of Edmonton’s best spots for all-you-can-eat hot pot. The broths are rich and flavorful—especially the spicy Szechuan—and the variety of meats, seafood, and veggies is impressive. Portions are generous, and the robot server adds a fun, unique touch. Plus, the service is always friendly and fast. Great value and an even better meal—highly recommended! It's my second time coming here and I'm definitely coming back.

We love this place the staff are friendly they are always on top of refilling water and checking on you. The food is amazing.

This was my first time at this hot pot place, and sadly, it’ll be my last. Right away, I noticed the utensils and bowls looked worn out—not necessarily dirty, but old and not well-maintained, which made me question their overall food handling.

We got the all-you-can-eat option and ordered a few items to try, but didn’t finish everything because some dishes just weren't to our taste. Then, out of nowhere, a staff member (an older woman) came over and loudly scolded us for wasting food. She kept raising her voice, repeating herself, and made a really uncomfortable scene in front of everyone. It was embarrassing and totally ruined the experience.

She could’ve easily handled it in a respectful, polite way. No need to be rude to customers. Very disappointing overall.

Amazing service and food, the lunch deal is really affordable and you get a lot of food

I was told I was rude for asking to see the menu after our first order. A staff insisted we finish everything before looking again, even though I just wanted to look at what else was on the menu. They also kept on asking us if we're done every 5 minutes. This kind of service actually made me lose my appetite.

I have dreams about the robot. In my dream, the robot delivered me not just my food, but my mail and a letter from my estranged wife.

In the letter, she said “Come to Chili Hot Pot.”

I went in, she was sitting in the corner booth, table full of assorted dishes. I sat across from her, and began eating. I took a bite of my food and bit into something hard. I pulled it out of my mouth, and it was her wedding ring. She said to me, “Will you marry me, again?”.

I woke up.

I need to go back to Chili Hot Pot soon.

Best hot pot in city. Not every item is perfect, but the collection of all you can eat
Quality items is excellent. Drinks are great. Sauce options great. Service is the best with very kind waitresses and robot cat. Highly recommend.

Great hotpot spot. The food is always good. Tho some soup selections can be hit or miss sometimes, staff are always friendly and willing to help you out. Sauce bar is good, only complaint is its very cramped and dated, but you're going for good hotpot who 'really' cares about decor. It can get stuffy.

So much fun!! I did research before my trip to Edmonton to find the best hot pot cause I can’t get it at home and this place kept coming back up. Amazing flavour on everything I got the split broth of satay and tomato and it was soooo good!!! We got so many toppings and one of the house ice teas and we left so full we could barely move! Such a good price as well for what you can get, but make sure you go hungry. There is also a robot that delivers food however I am afraid of robots so that did not excite me. But the human staff was so nice! And the sauce bar, a hot pot staple, was well stocked and rounded out the experience. Even though I felt like I was gonna explode after I did get the mango pudding for dessert and it was so refreshing and worth it.
