The last time I was there, the server was extremely rude he threw the bill to us, the plates when he was giving us our food, and when he was serving our potatoes. He also forgot the whole order and almost brought us the entire order wrong.

My sister ca.e in from Saskatchewan and I wanted her to have a true taste of Edmonton. All of the staff treated us with the utmost respect and care, our waitress was extremely friendly and hospitable. We ordered and the food was done to perfection in a reasonably quick time. All three dishes were very tasty and most enjoyable. Our 1 year old son had staff and patrons coming over to say hello make our atmosphere warm and comfortable. This restaurant is by far, my favorite spot in Edmonton

Great place for a quality steak at a reasonable price. They only serve sirloins, New York's, tenderloins and t-bones. I'm more of a ribeye guy though but the sirloin I ate was much better than The Keg if you want a comparison. Minimal scrap and connective tissues and perfectly cooked rare and seasoned. The added mushrooms were bland and didn't contribute much and probably not worth the extra couple of bucks. The baked potato had a tough texture, maybe sitting in the oven too long but they have servers that come along after to help garnish them up with as much butter, sour cream, bacon bits and green onions as you want, which spruced the potato right up. Service was surprisingly efficient as the place was packed during the oilers game. You can tell that the staff here have been here a long time and they know their craft. I'd highly recommend trying it out here, there's a reason why they've been around for almost 50 years.
