As a celiac I haven’t enjoyed such delicious perogies in many, many years. Paige was absolutely delightful, and the whole team was very friendly. Everything looked so good we decided to share a third entree, we will be back very soon!

We low key celebrated a birthday here.

Finally, got to dine here after driving by it many times. Liver and onions, delicious! Hungarian Goulash, wonderful! Beef Rouladen, outstanding!
Even the mojito was delicious!

And then to finally seal the deal, Susanne, our server was absolutely fantastic and our party's birthday person was in the clouds after!

Hats off the the hard working chef behind the scenes. I seldom have experienced amazingness at restaurants, i.e. at best others would be good or just fine, but this one is definitely one of the best quality and taste I've experienced, not just in Edmonton, but ever!

I highly recommend anyone else to give this a try.

We went here for my husband’s birthday, the server Susan was a delight, and the food was phenomenal. Everything on the menu is gluten free which was great for our family, it is such an amazing restaurant, we will definitely be back.

I can’t recommend this place enough! As someone with celiac disease, finding safe and delicious gluten-free food can be difficult, but they went completely above and beyond for us.

They personally texted me to let me know they were sold out of the bread I ordered, recommended their bestselling alternative, and even handdelivered our order despite heavy traffic, keeping me updated the whole time. They also offered to set aside items for us on future visits since we live two hours away, and even surprised us with extra cookies to try.(The bread was absolutely the best gf bread I have ever tried!!!!)

It’s rare to find this level of customer service. They genuinely care about their customers and making sure everyone has a great experience. The food was fantastic, and the kindness we were shown made it even better. If you’re looking for amazing glutenfree food and people who truly go the extra mile, this is the place. We’ll absolutely be back!

We made a reservation for Sunday brunch at Continental Treat Fine Bistro, currently operating out of the German-Canadian Cultural Association at 8310 Roper Road. I had previously dined at their Whyte Avenue location before it closed and was not overly impressed with the food, so we thought we would give them another try. Unfortunately, this visit was even less satisfying.
We ordered the Beef Rouladen, and although the presentation was nice, the rouladen was barely lukewarm. It tasted as though it had been refrigerated or frozen and then reheated in a microwave.
Two of our guests ordered the Pork Schnitzel Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was quickly absorbed by the large bun that replaced the traditional English muffin, leaving the dish quite dry.
When we arrived at noon, there were guests at only two other tables. A table of two ordered the Tiramisu French Toast, and immediately afterward we were told they had run out of that menu item.
Two of our guests ordered coffee, yet we were charged $15.00 for three coffees. I'm not sure how that adds up, unless the refills in their cups—which were not much larger than demitasse cups—are not complimentary.
Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and left feeling that the quality of the food did not justify another visit.

Unbelievably DELICIOUS AND AUTHENTIC German Schnitzel, Potatoe Salad and marinated carrots and red cabbage. This was the best German meal I’ve had in a long time, next to my mom’s home cooking!

Wow, seriously just WOW! 🤩 Even Oma was SERIOUSLY impressed. Five German Stars!

Come for a visit, stay for lunch or supper.
Definitely worth your time and money!

Nothing like European food.the best

The burgers are flavourable, the fries are hot and delicious, pop is never ending and the service is always delightful 🙂

What a great experience we had at Continental Treat Fine Bistro today. We came with a group of friends (our friend Mikey is one of the chefs), and the whole visit felt really special.

From the moment we walked in, James made us feel welcome. Even though the staff didn’t know us, he went out of his way to check in, keep us updated on our food, and make sure we were comfortable. He was kind, professional, and just genuinely friendly the whole time—it really stood out.

Sergey was also great, always making sure our water was topped up and that we had everything we needed. Another server (I didn’t catch her name) was also very friendly and helpful. The whole team was working hard, but James really left an impression.

The food was amazing. The dill soup and tripe soup were both super flavourful and comforting. The pierogies—both the beef and the potato and cheese—were delicious, especially with the sour cream and beef sauce. Everything tasted like it was made with care.

We also had eggs Benedict and finished with Black Forest cake and tiramisu with ice cream, fresh cream, and a strawberry. Everything looked great and tasted even better.

Before we left, James thanked us for coming and wished us a great weekend as he was finishing his shift. It was a small thing, but it really meant a lot.

Big thanks to the whole team—we’ll definitely be back.

I was diagnosed celiac about a year ago and it’s been challenging to find places where I feel safe. I’m SO glad I recruited my extended family to come here for Sunday brunch because I could finally indulge in anything on the menu! What a treat! Our server was great - he was patient and upbeat to our table of 11 and all of us really enjoyed our meals. We’ll definitely be back 🤗.
