Amazing oysters, and great wine. We were sat next to particularly noisy children, and although we were not bothered, the owner offered champagne to make up for it. Would definitely recommend and come back again ❤️

Cozy interior, and comfortable.
Food was quite good, definitely fresh and quite rich in flavours.
Drinks were also not too overbearing and had a refreshing flavour.
I'd come here again if they make the feature a permanent item it was so good!

Had an absolutely amazing time at Darling with their fresh ingredients and farm-to-table style food. They’re more of a wine forward restaurant, so expect to see some cool and funky wines on their menu. Our server was awesome at explaining the choices to us.

Their beef carpaccio was delicious and had the right amount of beef flavour and seasoning. Their house bread was decent, but not a highlight. I definitely recommend getting the steak, when in Alberta, you might as well!

Overall, had a very fun night here and would recommend checking them out. Reservations are highly recommended!

Stopped here today after a full morning of moving. Made it just before their brunch finished.

The place was beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was wonderful. Out served wad Calvin and he was an absolute gem. My parents really enjoyed the service.

The food was phenomenal. We had the Benny, the quiche, and the French toast. The food came out quick, was very tasty, and looked beautiful.

We will absolutely have to come back to try their wine!

The food was excellent. We had an appetizer, a small plate, 2 large plates and dessert and still had some to take home. The chocolate tart was incredible! The only issue we found was the limited number of options to choose from. Our server was wonderful and attentive. She knew the menu and wine list well. We found the seating somewhat cramped especially since there was no options to hang our coats. Overall a great meal.

The music was just a little loud for me. The portion of fish i received was closer to an appetizer than a meal...you leave hungry cuz it doesn't fill you.....33 dollars for a small portion. Disappointed!

Good wine list, atmosphere, and great service overall. However the foods were very off. I can tell they use fresh and good ingredients but their technique and flavour presentation is surprisingly bad. I had oysters and whipped focaccia cheese bread for an appie, and I thought the whipped cheese were too salty and heavy, garlic was very spicy so I thought it was a bad starter to pair with light starting wine as they dominate the flavour and I had to rinse with water every bite. Starting pretty heavy on my mouth, the main cabbage and kale salad. Very disappointing as well, I first taste unpleasant sprinkles of sweetness and the char comes in very bitter after the sweetness. Then I taste greasy cabbage and kale which kale was over cooked and cabbage is under cooked. The flavours do not combine but rather distracts the distinct flavour of cabbage and kale. The Home made pasta, the shape is so bad it does not absorb the ragu sauce at all. The pasta taste bad, the sauce is very blend with strong pork smell. What is worse is that the saltness or seasoning of the sauce and the pasta does not match each other so they don’t combine together. I taste the sauce first and pasta after so this was a bad pasta. The steak was cooked very well, however the chimichurri sauce taste like I’m eating grass after I fell in the soccer field. Over used parsley and I think they should have used other herbs but whatever was in that sauce did not feel intuitively delicious. The desserts I thought were again too sweet and overall the dessert plating were disappointing. Three out of four mains we tried were below par. However, other than food it is a very exciting place.

Brunch at Darling was amazing! I had the eggs Benny and we split the brioche French toast, both were delicious. Service was genuinely friendly and the whole place just has a great vibe. Will definitely be back.

The ambience and vibes are cool, I’m sure they wine and charcuterie is good but that’s not very hard to do.

Honestly everything I’ve eaten here is so mid. Only thing I kinda enjoy are the Turkish eggs

Biggest pet peeve is going to a completely empty restaurant and not being allowed to sit where we want. We were directed to the bar seats closest to the front door on a winter's night - and there were zero people in the restaurant. We asked to sit at a four tip table so we could sit next to each other, then told we could only sit at a two top. Ridiculous. Total bill $117 for some ours and two glasses of wine. Service was below par and the experience was not good.

Everything was absolutely divine, as well as the food. It was literally the best steak I’ve had in my life. Bueno!

This is a great place for a date! Our server was outstanding - warm, friendly and very polite. Came to see how we were doing at the right times, making sure we had enough water and ready to order. Food is delicious, however we were a party of 4 and the portion sizes were not enough. That's why only 4 stars.

Darling is always good. The staff are friendly and the food is well portioned, expertly crafted, and absolutely amazing.
