The jelly donuts were absolutely amazing soft fresh and filled perfectly with just the right amount of jelly. The bread itself was really good and fluffy which made every bite even better. This is my favourite bakery. The rye bread is excellent, the doughnuts with the tinge of lemon in the glaze are delicious and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I have been coming here for years and since the renovations it is even better. You can now sit in air-conditioned comfort and have a coffee and one of their excellent baked good. Wish I could rate it even higher.
This is the best bakery in Edmonton. The only place I have been able to find authentic European rye farmers bread. It is DELICIOUS and freezes well too! They had a variety of cakes, pastries, and breads. I was surprised to see they even had Bienenstich (iykyk)!
