Nice spot, but needs a bigger dancefloor. My friend was looking for something they lost, and the bouncers didn’t let them back in, because they forgot to give my friend a stamp—even though they were outside for not even 2 minutes. The bouncers were also rather rude and impatient, even when there was nobody else trying to get in. I could get it if they were getting paid minimum wage, but they’re bouncers so I doubt they’re getting paid so little.Edit: yes they very much happened that way. Sucks this is the only lgbtq+ spot in town.

The club to be in if you are lgbt+ in edmonton. The staff are all polite and prompt. There are many different folks that come that are *usually* very friendly. Its all around a good place to be. Security does their job well and i never feel threatened. If there is a creep or someone causing a ruckus, they will be removed quickly. The drinks are average for a club. The djs are hit and miss, sometimes they are playing bangers, sometimes they are playing 'generic club music' or a basic jungle/house beat with spliced vocals. Very very occasionally do they have music that is painful to dance to. The drag shows are a blast, though i usual go for the dancing and socialization. They check bags upon entry, as they should. The owners/operators are nice people too. If you go early on the night, it can feel like a ghost town with music, but it fills up quickly. To my knowledge, it is not wheel chair accessible, and there are many stairs at the entrances. Overall, good place, would and do recommend.

I have always wanted to come here, but hate club vibes in general. I decided to check this out after leaving the Iron Maiden concert early. I am so glad I came, the drag show that was happening was 10X better than Iron Maiden. The vibe was nothing but positive, and I felt like no one would challenge me to a fight because I accidently made eye contact or bumped them in a busy bar. Also my first drag show I attended and will be going to many more.If more places in downtown Edmonton had this positives vibe, I would come to downtown Edmonton more often. I will be back. My only complaint was the stage is not high enough for shows, or there were too many tall people blocking my view, and im slightly above average height

Absolutely one great place to go out and party in Edmonton! Awesome dance floor. Great staff. Drink prices are decent, too!Yes, it has the "gay bar" label. And it is nothing less than an amazing(!) gay bar!☆ I want to raise awareness of something super important, though!!!Gay, between, or 100% straight, all walks of life are respected there. It's just a blast of a fun time! Party central!Everyone is happy and wants to have a good time. Never see the usual drunk douchebags that want to pick fights and cause a scene. They're just not there!Attention! No kitchen. Eat supper somewhere else! And that's ok!My only complaint is that they used to have 2 separate rooms with DJ's. Since the "quiet room" standard came into the bar scene, the HUGE second room/dance floor is completely empty and.... wasted in my opinion... Would love to see that aspect again. I totally miss it the earlier years! Those are only memories now..?

I've gotten to come here for aa couple of events and just for a night out, several times now, and it doesn’t disappoint. There's something about this safe and welcoming place with an incredible vibe. I love coming to dance here. Whether I've come alone or with friends, it’s always been a fun time with much warmth and great energy.

Evolution is always a great time. It’s Edmontons only queer bar and club. The staff and owners are some of the nicest people I’ve met. The shows are always amazing and fun. Most importantly we always feel safe to be us when we’re there.

Wouldn’t let my friend in on HIS birthday their was 8 of us, and door man said bcuz of dress code, he was dressed fine. SMH it was fine we ended up going to Shade down the road where they let ALL of us in with NO problems at all.
