They don't roast their own bean, but they have a good supply. You can't beat the venue. Austin an employee even recommended another location for me to check out so they're pushing flavor so this would be a great place for espresso. This is a must go too if you enjoy sitting in a beautiful place, tasting a good quality bean

If I could rate the atmosphere a 6, then I would. Lovingly decorated as the old bookstore of your dreams and serving up great lattes. Look to get a vegan pastry on your way out!

I truly enjoyed my double quad Americano iced coffee with 3 pumps of hazelnut syrup, to get my spirits going. Who wouldn’t to enjoy a lovely cool down of sweetness I within your favourite cup at your favourite spot with no fawkes given, at no Fawkes. Ouuuh… rolling that paraphrase alone, makes my aura transcend. Definitely stop by this establishment and indulge with your eyes and tastebuds of sweet authentic pastries, vino’s, beers, malts and let your eyes roam the very corner of the room and indulge with knowledge as well.

This establishment truly deserves an award 🥇 ⚡️

Fawkes cafe had a really nice atmosphere, the food was really filling and my favourite part of the food was the tomato soup.

I ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich along with the London Fog and it was well portioned and very well seasoned. The sun dried tomato’s in the sandwich were a nice touch.

My friend got the yogurt bowl and she was quite happy with how light it was.

Overall would definitely reccomend to family and friends. The parking was not too hard to find.

It was our first time trying Fawkes and we had high expectations. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The staff didn’t seem welcoming staff member was just busy arranging chairs but his definitely looking at us.

The pastries were okay but food items on the menu weren’t available at the time. Before leaving, we even cleaned our own table. When my friend tried to get the attention of the bar staff by saying “Excuse me…. Hello…..,” staff member didn’t respond and kept his back turned the whole time.

As people who also work in the retail and food industry, we understand how important it is to greet customers and be attentive. A simple acknowledgment can make a big difference.

What a cute space! It's an old heritage building in downtown, and it has lots of charm. I had a green onion pancake, but I didn't like it as much as some of the others I've tried in Edmonton. The ones from the Hong Kong Bakery were much fluffier and I liked them better.

I did come here really for the donuts, though, as I heard they had a nice selection of vegan donuts. I had a salted caramel one, and while it was good, it was a baked donut and that's just not my thing. I vastly prefer a deep fried donut, because it gives better texture.

All in all, nice, cozy space, but I wasn't blown away by the food.

Very cute coffee shop with good drinks and baking. It was super busy but the line moved fast and the drinks and food came out quickly.

The service on this day was really lacking, the person that took my order seemed like they really did not want to be there. The same person warmed my order up way too much, acknowledged it was an accident, but gave it to me anyways…? I ordered the pistachio raspberry roll that was overly sweet and had no raspberry flavour in it. It did have a good amount of pistachios, but I ended up tossing it because it was just a puddly mess :(

I recently tried the Classic Breakfast Sandwich, and it was really tasty! It was a bit greasy, but still a fantastic choice. The seating area was a little tight, so it’s best to come with a few friends or just by yourself. Overall, this spot is perfect for relaxing, getting some work done, or enjoying a good meal.

Was wondering downtown with my partner looking for a place to get some breakfast and stumbled across this one. Absolutely 10/10. We got their pistachio raspberry roll and apple cinnamon roll and it was delicious! Immaculate vibes as well and the barista was so refreshingly upbeat.

Fawkes Bakery is a hidden gem with an incredible selection of pastries and baked goods that are both visually stunning and delicious. Their freshly made breads, cakes, and tarts showcase a perfect balance of flavors and textures, leaving you craving more with every bite. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot to enjoy a coffee while indulging in their artisanal treats. Whether you’re a fan of classic croissants or bold, seasonal creations, Fawkes never disappoints.

Very nice warm decoration but grumpy baristas
Not smiling and the people behind the bar are talking to each other rather than engaging with you as a customer .
