Flava Cafe is a hidden gem! I stopped by for a taste of authentic Jamaican flavors, and they did not disappoint for the price. The fried chicken is perfectly crispy and seasoned just right—definitely some of the best I’ve had. Is flava cafe the most authentic Jamaican food in Edmonton? Maybe.
What I do know, is that we were greeted, treated, and seated warmly. Swiftly after we finished our jerk plate with lots of rice & beans, about a 1/4 chicken, and plantain, we were picking away at the last morsels of chicken off the bone. Really good!

I wish there was an option for a higher spice level, but that's extremely nit picky.
I can't wait to get back for...

Found this hidden gem! My spot for lunch! Jerk chicken is nicely flavoured! Wasn't dry! Coleslaw was season nice! Can't wait to try the Oxtail next!!! Will review that too!
