This place is a hidden gem, honestly! The love that is put into each pie they bake is exactly what you would expect from a family owned and operated pizzeria. I’ve been a chef for over 17 years and I can confidently say their homemade dough is perfectly prepared, it is airy, yet crispy, with enough structure to hold up under ANY amount of toppings and cheese.
This is the second time I’ve ordered from Grandma’s Pizza. Tonight, I ordered a medium pie with ground beef, chicken, black olives, red peppers, feta, & of course extra mozzarella. I called ahead for pick-up when I was leaving work and the pizza was ready when I got there (15 minutes later). The base sauce (tomato) is simple yet elegant you can tell time and love is put into the recipe. The ground beef is cooked fresh not like the box chains that you know have the beef already come in pre-cooked and freeze dried. The chicken is the exact same when it comes to quality, the pieces are moist and you can tell it’s pulled pieces from an actual chicken. The red peppers are fresh and juicy. And the cheese, both the feta and the extra mozzarella are perfect and worth the money.
I recommend Grandma’s Pizza to anyone looking for authentic homemade pie made with the freshest ingredients and love. You’ll also be supporting a local family owned business. 10/10 for flavour, dough, and ingredients.
An added touch was the complimentary banana bread that they gave with my order.

Delicious. Got the hawaiian and the meat lovers. Great amount of toppings, fast service. Had the pizza bread too, even my picky child liked it. I'm cool with paying cash anytime I can too. Our 93 year old Grandma even liked it. I wish I lived closer to downtown because it's hard to find good pizza on the Southside. Great price as well.

It's a small place, one table with chairs only to wait for your order. The process is easy, you order the food,you get the food,you pay for the food. The owners aren't there to entertain you ,it's just him and her making pizzas, for those post covid crowd it might seem strange to pay cash only, but interac and credit cards charge thru the roof for their usage,besides how many times have you seen the internet down and couldn't do anything, carry a couple of twenty's,it wouldn't hurt. Anyways, anyone who gave a bad review are nuts ,it was good pizzas, for a good price, on time and with a smile, I'll return when I can

Wow by far the best pizza I have had in a long long time pepperoni mush green peppers add pepperoni . I called 8.45 the guys says sorry we close at 9 I said ok he then says how far away are you ..he says ok what you want 15. Minute later I had the best pizza just great food n service

Well after reading the reviews I felt compelled to try this much heralded pizza...I can easily see what the excitement is all about. Really well made and tasty pizza! A lot of topping and cheese , very tasty sauce, the crust could have been a little more hearty but that's splitting hairs ...the pizza was great * I got a chocolate croissant as a surprise desert ! .... also very pleased with this !

I moved into the downtown area and wanted to find an independently owned pizza place that made a great pizza and I was not disappointed. Delivery was quick and the pizza was amazing. Will definitely be making Grandma Pizza my regular pizza routine. Even better than my favourite place in the west end.
