Had the Tan Tan Ramen for lunch, pretty good

This place has pretty good ramen, and the atmosphere is decent. However, I would call it more of a casual eatery rather than a restaurant where you’d expect something extraordinary or special dishes. I think the prices are quite high for a place like this. I wouldn’t say it’s a spot for a date—just a place to grab a quick meal once.

I noticed the soup of the noodle was at the right temperature to eat right away when they served it. Not sure if that’s the same for everyone else. Like it doesn’t burn my tongue like some other times.

Good place for a quick and casual lunch. The service was nice and the space was comfortable and casual. The food was ok but did not blow our taste buds away. Shrimp tempura was hot and crispy but the batter was a bit dense instead of the usual light, airiness that is associated with great tempura. The spring rolls were store bought and not worth ordering. The spicy garlic miso was not very flavorful, not spicy at all. Ramen texture was good overall, the marinated egg was perfectly done, but broth was lacking.

We went to have ramen. We tried the potato korokke and spicy garlic miso ramen. It was great! Lovedd it, the only drawback is that all their ramen’s have pork broth base and not chicken.

This is a super cute noodle place with delicious food. I recommend the spicy garlic miso ramen and the marinated egg. Service was friendly and really quick, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. I will definitely make another visit soon and recommend Hu's to my friends.

Parking: Over ten spots available in an uncovered lot. Validate your parking at the tablet at the front desk for three hours of free parking.

Today is our second visit. We were thrilled when we discovered this Ramen restaurant. Our first visit was exceptional, came in less than an hour before they closed. The server on that time, September 5 provided an over the top service.
While we are eating today, a lady coming from the kitchen brought out few utensils-chopsticks, forks and spoons to fill up. A spoon was dropped on the floor, she picked up and just wiped it out with cloth and put it in the container. Really! People walk on that floor with their filthy shoes and you don’t wash that spoon that fall. You must kidding me now. She even saw us looking at her but she didn’t even hesitate to take it back inside to wash. Disgusting! I wonder how unsanitary the foods that they’re serving. I will never be back again. Very disappointed.

Hands down the best ramen I’ve had in the city so far. The broth is rich and just hits on a different level compared to the other ramen shops. My personal favorite is the Black Garlic Ramen.

The staff is friendly and attentive and pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend that you add the marinated eggs to your bowl. It’s worth the few extra dollars.

I’ve tried a few other ramen shops in the city but I keep coming back to Hu’s!

The best ramen restaurant in Edmonton! Their Tantan is an absolute MUST TRY! They provide free softdrink Mon~Thurs at 4-5pm. Wednesdays have free marinated egg on Tantan. Basically my Wednesdays are now Tantan Ramen day.

Rita is an amazing staff. She is kind, polite, and professional. She is my favorite. I am always looking forward to be served by her because of her superb service.

The owners are also very accomodating if you happen to have any issue that may arise.

Ramen: 10/10! (Any ramen I tried are all amazing)

Side dishes: 8/10 (spring rolls or takoyaki)

Service: 10/10! (professional staff that will accomodate all your needs at regular intervals)

Athmosphere: 10/10. (plenty of tables and chairs with amazing selection of musics in the background, plenty of plants, and they even got an aquarium)

Overall, 5/5. Hu's noodle serves the most amazing Ramen noodles in all of Alberta. I hope Calgarians do give them a visit and try it for themselves. I feel like I am in Japan in Canada.

Simple, no fuss place to get decent ramen and other bites. Tried the tan tan and liked it. Recommend adding toppings (e.g. marinated egg, chasu) as this one comes pretty bare (aside from the pork mince and a nori square).

Ample parking once you navigate all the construction on City streets. Service was attentive.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian ramen comes in 2 broth choices and loaded with toppings.
