We came here as a family of six age 2 to 65- to celebrate 2 birthdays. It was a great experience, delicious food, and enjoyed our chef. It was loud to hear- especially for older adults with hard of hearing, so we had to repeat a lot of what the chef was saying, however it was not the restaurants fault. We will definitely be back, thank you!

Had an awesome experience at Japanese Village! The food was delicious from start to finish, everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The highlight though was definitely the chef, they made the whole experience fun and entertaining while cooking right in front of us. It wasn’t just a meal, it was a show. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. Definitely coming back!

I ordered uber pick up , the lobster was bland and the sauce was watery and it was cold ( I showed up early before pick up ) the egg drop soup was cold and bland no flavour . A wasted my money much regret

The salad was watery and had no flavour and now it’s no longer lettuce ? It’s like a coke Slaw base almost , feels like less then you used to get for the price
Also watch out for the washroom in the women’s they had a nail sticking out a almost full inch at the time I was like it’s just a scratch but now I have a scar from a over priced meal

We were hesitant to try this resturant for years, and finally we did. Almost full house there during our visit, atmosphere was good, the chef was entertaining while the ventilations have room for improvement. The food quality was so so even not considering the price. To be honest, among all the teppanyaki restaurants that we have tried around the world, this is not one of the best.

After months of my best friend trying to get me to come to Japanese Village at West Edmonton Mall, I finally made it. It was AMAZING! Give Chef Jackie a raise! Lol The food was delicious, the show was so fun and hilarious. Definitely the best steak and shrimp I have ever had. I will be coming back again. 😊😊😊

I found it dirty, we were upstairs and the stainless appliances had old splatters all over. Upon closer inspection it was very dirty, dont think it was properly cleaned in some time. When walking out there were heaps of used dirty dishes lined up on an open counter...not impressed for the dollar spend.

The food is always top notch and the I couldn’t get enough of the sesame sauce! I believe it’s great value for the experience and quality of food you get! Definitely will be back!
