Joey’s Fish Shack Reviews
Quaint restaurant with a great atmosphere, excellent customer service, and even better food. Highly recommend.
In the special “$40 for fish and shrimp with 2 sides” take note folks. Only certain sides are allowed. Only certain type of shrimp is allowed (not coconut shrimp). I realize prices have gone up but what we were charged was ridiculous for the portions served. First time there and now last time there.
I ordered a Mac n cheese appetizer along with my fish and chips. I was charged $7.25 it. There was not even half a cup of it in the container! Total rip off!

Joey's Fish Shack offers a variety of delicious meals in a cozy and renovated atmosphere. The food quality is generally good, but some find the presentation in aluminum trays with waxed paper unusual. The Sherwood Park branch impressed with amazing food and friendly staff, ensuring a return visit.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a modern decor. The food is really tasty, especially the perfectly cooked and crunchy fish. Customers can also enjoy generous portions of fries and chicken wings. The menu offers great choices, and the staff is pleasant. Overall, it is a very nice dining experience that customers are encouraged to try.
Customers report that the restaurant isn't fancy, but the food is delicious and the servings are generous. They often order an extra piece of fish to have leftovers. The value is fairly good, with decent portion sizes and good service, though the fish can be a bit greasy. The recent renovations have been well-received, and the fresh, nicely cooked fish is a highlight, even on busy nights when service can be stretched thin.
