This is a wonderful place to enjoy authentic and delicious Swahili food. The manager truly values his customers and provides excellent service. Even though part of my order was missed on a busy night—which is completely understandable—the way they handled it was outstanding. The manager himself personally called me to apologize, which shows great professionalism and care. I truly appreciate that level of thoughtfulness. May God bless you and your business abundantly.

Absolutely amazing experience!
I visited Karibu Kilimanjaro for the first time and was blown away by the authentic Swahili cuisine. The flavours were rich, unique, and deeply comforting — every bite felt like a warm hug from East Africa.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, explaining the dishes and making me feel right at home. You can truly feel the love and culture in every detail — from the food to the music to the atmosphere.
Highly recommend trying the samaki, pilau, and chapati — so delicious! I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu.
If you’ve never tried Swahili food before, this is the perfect place to fall in love with it.
Thank you for such a memorable experience!
Excellent food
Good prices
Nice ambience
Got there a little after opening, so service was a tab slow
But I definitely would be back for the food.
The south african wine was delicious as well. Will pick up a bottle when in need of wine

I came to the restaurant at 5:55 pm, and waitress and she asked us what would we like as drink we give our drinks then she asked us what we would like to order as food and we said famous kilimanjaro then it took them 3 hours to get our food she helped a person get the wifi, get their drinks and food. We still didn't get our food yet everyone around us had food except us. My mom had to get the owner for us to get our because of partnership reason and we finally got our food at 9:30 pm.

Always the wrong order! And a very rude manager.
WORST SERVICE EVER! On two different occasions!! Please take your money elsewhere! One of the waiters was so rude on my first ever visit. Unfortunately, after waiting for an hour for takeaway food, they failed to put other items in the package!!! We only discovered after we had arrived home.Horrible just horrible! On calling them over the missing orders , the waiter was extremely rude and never apologized. After driving back to pick up the food they kept on saying that they packed the food in the bag fortunately we had taken pictures of the order before driving back. On the second occasion, I made an order for take out and came back over an hour later for pick up! Only for them to tell me the food is not ready yet! More waiting time. I requested them to give me some part of the order (snacks that the waiter had told me was ready). Enjoy the snack in my car as I wait for the main meal which wasn’t ready yet! To my utter shock! the manager said I came out of the kitchen very upset while saying I was being problematic over asking for my part of my order(snacks) that I had paid for😒 He went ahead and asked me “DO YOU THINK THIS IS YOUR PERSONAL RESTAURANT?” while shouting and pointing fingers at me in front of other customers! Just awful! As someone who immensely enjoys exploring different restaurants around the city. Only to be treated like this at an East African Restaurant while trying to chase after authentic Swahili food!!! I feel so disappointed!!! You can do better!

We were excited to try out authentic Swahili food. At first it was never open despite Google maps stating they should be. Then it was an hour wait with no food after the promised 20min wait. The two tables next to us came, ate, talked, and literally left. We ordered appetizer plantains and no sight of it either. Came in hungry and left with an hour of wasted time. Completely ridiculous.

Fast courteous service, good food but a little pricey. Advertise and serve Halal food. I was turned off by the bar style atmosphere a loud tv playing and they display alcohol bottles at the bar. Kind of a contradiction for an establishment having halal food.

We found the place very nice, good atmosphere but as it was our first time and not used to Kenyan food, we expect to be guided to something we would enjoyed but it wasn't the case so we ordered based of names and we definitely did not pick the right dishes and we're disappointed.
