La Petite Iza Reviews
Not impressed. Staff are nice and attentive. However the food was alright to an extent. The onion soup was excellent But due to the fact one of us is a type one diabetic. The Filet Mignon comes with an onion cognac sauce with french fries on the side. I said not due to the diabetes. The waiter said have a salad. She said a green one I said fine. It came with blue cheese. I could not eat it. I asked another waiter if I could have vegetable's. Our waiter came back and said NO....read full review

La Petite Iza offers delicious food and a charming atmosphere, with attentive service. Located in the University area of Edmonton, this cozy French restaurant on the second floor provides a vintage vibe. The patio offers beautiful views and can be covered during cooler days. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, often allowing guests to stay past closing. While the French cuisine is considered top-notch for Edmonton, it may not match larger city offerings. Highlight dishes include the scallops, Coq au vin, and squash salad, with excellent service from servers. Recent guests praised the spectacular service, noting that the server was very attentive and offered many suggestions. The view from the patio adds to the experience, though some found the tables could be higher for better viewing. The atmosphere can be dark and loud at times, which might affect the dining experience. Some guests mentioned that the chairs are not very comfortable and not plus-size friendly, and there have been occasional reports of slow service and forgotten items. Nonetheless, the food remains a highlight of the restaurant. Overall, La Petite Iza provides an inviting setting for a memorable meal.
