I am so impressed with Sugarbowl!! My friend and I are from out of town and I have a severe allergy to Gluten and Dairy, from our phone call with Brian, who is an amazing Host 👏 to Jen our server again amazing 👏 the atmosphere 👏 The Food 😋 Definitely 15 out of 10 🥳

Highlights.....from 1995 to 1998 the Sugarbowl was the place I met with friends almost every evening for a great cup of coffee and a great atmosphere. I haven't been in Edmonton since 2000 but I see the Bowl as we used to call it back then is still doing great. Good to see.....old memories are worth more than any cup of coffee.

Sugarbowl is a delightful restaurant that offers an exceptional dining experience and is a staple for a reason. It is known for its great beer list, killer cinnamon buns, and an always-buzzing patio. The service is attentive, fast, and friendly, with employees who are genuinely helpful and accommodating with dietary requirements. The food is delicious, featuring generous portions that satisfy, including their signature cinnamon bun and the best popcorn on Earth. Customers have enjoyed the breakfast burrito, which is so good but can be too much for one sitting, as well as the delicious bison stew and chicken curry. The outstanding Mac 'N Cheese dish melts in your mouth and is highly recommended. The coffee is exceptional, with many claiming it to be among the best they've ever had, and the London Fog is a must-try for those who enjoy it. Located at the top of the river valley, this charming spot is perfect for brunch, lunch, or late-night drinks, and is well worth the 20-minute wait without a reservation. With an incredible selection of local beers and cocktails, Sugarbowl is a warm and inviting Edmonton institution with great value and friendly, attentive staff.
