Came in sporadically on a Wednesday with a friend to show him some authentic Indian food. He loved the experience and the prices. I got a reminder of some delicious home cooking with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our server Budhi was working hard and ensuring good service.

Decent Food, But Cultural Sensitivity Needed
The food at this restaurant is decent but could use improvement in terms of taste. However, what really needs attention is the staff's assumption that every South Asian—or "brown" person—is from India and speaks Hindi.
I’ve visited this restaurant four times, and each time, the staff began speaking in Hindi while taking my order. Even after I clearly mentioned that I am not from India and do not understand Hindi, they would switch to English briefly but revert to Hindi soon after.
Cultural sensitivity and attentiveness to customers’ preferences would greatly enhance the overall experience. Not all South Asians are from the same background or speak the same language, and acknowledging this would show respect for diversity.
