I got a flat white and the ham and cheese tartine, both fabulous. Twinkle lights are always a win for me :)

Tired of the barista inconsistencies. Every time I come here and order the same drink I get a completely different drink depending on who is working. Sometimes it’s scalding hot. Sometimes the espresso hasn’t been dialled in properly and is flavourless. Sometimes it’s both and on the rare occasion it’s perfect. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and I’m tired of being disappointed. Please train your staff appropriately on meeting these consistencies. Perhaps a mandatory thermometer at an exact temperature. Definite training required on how to dial in the espresso grinder to find the flavour profile they need to be looking for. This espresso brand is at multiple different locations across the city (even across the street) and the flavour profile being pulled here is nowhere near what it should be.

Decent drink menu. Must decide while standing at the counter. Which I personally didn’t like. QR codes on tables would have been helpful for decision purposes. Not a big food menu at all. 3 items the day my friend and I went. Not sure if that’s normal. Ample seating but must walk down stairs to enter the establishment. If mobility is challenging for you I’d suggest going elsewhere. Decent tasting matcha with honey for $6. Not sure if the value was there but ok none the less. Didn’t overly love it but didn’t hate it. Might be back if a friend suggested it but wouldn’t think to come here again on my own. Has to do with parking as well since it’s paid street parking or paid lot parking. If you live dt and can walk I’d highly suggest that. Staff not overly friendly or helpful I found but they were efficient.

The breakfast sandwiches are so good I could die. I could literally die.Update: things have changed here and it’s really a shame. I loved the food here and they’ve recently shortened the menu and taken all the good things away. It’s not what it used to be and what a big loss for jasper ave and the coffee scene :(

Everytime I come here, everyone is in such a great mood and the coffee???? Oh the coffee is perfection. This is my #1 recommended coffee shop to everyone who visits Edmonton. My partner and I also used to work a block or two away and would make the trek in -40 just to grab our coffee (and breakfast sandwiches) here. Do yourself a favour and visit!

Super cute cafe! Lots of seating so you can work/study. They have a few vegan choices like the chocolate vegan cupcake I had. AMAZING cheese scones!! So fresh and flaky.Sometimes the hours on google are wrong, so I would call to see if they are open before going. Would come back again to try more sandwiches!
