Warning ā ļø super gross news of violations! Alberta Health Services has ordered an Edmonton restaurant to close due to a mouse infestation, among other health violations.
The AHS order dated Tuesday said Lumberjackās Restaurant & Sportsmens Pub, located at 5708 75 St., was āinfested with and supporting the harbourage of mice.ā
In addition to a dead mouse, droppings, and nesting materials, AHS said an inspector found improper refrigeration and sanitation, a grease-laden exhaust system, and ceilings and toilets in disrepair.
which was being used to store perishable foods, was 25.4 C. The deli table was 9.8 C,ā it read. āThe low-temperature mechanical dishwasher was not adequately sanitizing dishes. Food contact surfaces were not sanitized prior to handling food.ā
AHS said the owner must address pest control, repair equipment, restore sanitation, and deep clean the facility before reopening is allowed.
The owner received a verbal order on April 17 and has the right to appeal.
Restaurant owners and managers are denying everything saying it's a renovation. š Maybe a forced renovation so innocent people don't get sick or die losers!

HILARIOUS that they accuse a reviewer of āspreading rumoursā and theyāre closed for ārenovationsā after the mention of mice in the review. Look at the AHS audit. Absolutely disgusting. At least admit the problem, now you look even more shady. May as well close down for good no one will be walking in this place.

They say the 1 star reviews are fake because theyāre closed for Renos. What they donāt tell you is they were shutdown by AHS due to severe violations such as mice infestation and improper handling of food and food storage. Do not go here

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! I got sick from this place the food is undercooked. And I Should have seen the reviews before I came. mice?!?? Are you kidding me right now. How are you serving in a restaurant with mice there. I beg the inspectors to shut your place down and donāt come up to me saying āif it was your house would have closed your houseā no duh cause itās my house and we know how to clean and get mice out unlike you guys. And the owner is very rude and the service is so terrible. And the food is terrible I got food poisoning after coming here!!! Please Iām informing you all not to come here at all!!!

You can Get a Better Breakfast at A&W for 1/2 the $ , Ordered Eggs Benedict, Huge Egg Shells in the Eggs , So Sad Also ordered the French Toast, received, thin slices of White Bread dipped in Egg , Sausages? , So small & cheap.

Terrible place. Use to get the chicken and waffles. The waffles machine broke down. And theyāve never fixed it. But proceed to keep the menu the exact same. Terrible place actually surprised they havenāt been closed yet.
