Great tonkatsu (Korean style, not Japanese style): crispy outside, juicy and tender inside. The meal comes with rice, salad, pickles, and miso soup. For $20, it’s quite a lot of pork. But I wish there could be free salad and/or rice refills like in Japan. Minimal service (server never checked in on us). Friend said fish cake udon is also good.
Today, I had the Miga Katsu Mix, potatoe croquette, and the Hire Katsu Curry.
Of the three, I enjoyed the Katsu Curry the most. Katsu in all three dishes were pretty tender and crispy. Specialty rice they use blends in well with all the food as well.
For the potatoe croquettes on the website, it says the order comes with four, and we only got three, unfortunately.

My go to spot for katsu and udon!
The restaurant is clean and spacious with great options. We tried the hosu and hire katsu which is the pork sirloin and tenderloin cutlet. It was juicy and flavourful, not dry and crispy on the outside. The set was served with miso soup, rice and salad.
We also got udon for our main course - beef kimchi udon and miga special udon. The broth was light yet packed with flavour. Udon was chewy and perfectly cooked.
