Good food and service but insanely over priced. 2 eggs benedicts and 2 coffees was $80, before tip.

Best borscht I’ve ever had. Unique polish style with an egg, fresh dill and sour cream on top. Can’t go wrong with any choice of eggs benedict. The homemade hollandaise is so velvety!

Everything I’ve tried here is delicious, made to order, beautiful and packed with flavour.

The food was great, there was only 1 server though she was doing really well serving a house full of guests, if they had more servers the service could be better.
Nice vibe to the place.

Great food however, please be aware that when they offer you lemon “tea” it’s quite literally LEMON steeped in HOT WATER and they charge you $6 for that. I think it’s misleading and quite absurd since other establishments do not charge for hot water with lemon wedges.

Food and atmosphere are delicious and cute, but severely understaffed for a Sunday.

One of my favourite places for breakfast and lunch! A unique 'gem' in the heart of the city just off Whyte Ave, with many, delicious options and a cozy environment. It is not a quick stop; it is an experience. Relax and enjoy a story from the host.

A friend and I arrived at 3:00, and since they close at 4:00, we thought we had plenty of time. But that wasn’t the case! They didn’t want us there at all. They seemed eager to finish up and head home. We kept hearing reminders like “we close at 4” and noticed the lady glancing over many times to see if we were done with our meals. There were even whispers from the kitchen asking if we were still eating! If the closing time is 4, then it should be 4. If having customers at 3 is such a hassle, maybe they shouldn’t allow it then.. It’s important to appreciate the customers who support your business. Also.. the food is very very overpriced and for what lol?? The whole place just felt sticky and dirty. And on top of that they were rude. Goodbye

Amazing bagels! Many topping options. I have been here at least 20 times and food is always perfect, with beautiful fruit on the side. Cafe borgia coffee is my favourite. It is often busy on weekends so be prepared to come early or wait. It is a wonderful place to spend some quality time in a cozy atmosphere.

This is fantastic old-school eatery. Just off Whyte Ave, so the parking is good. Been here since 1982, so it was probably one of the first places with actual interesting food. If you'll go here, you'll know the difference between the Montreal bagels that we normally get, and New York bagels.

Absolutely delicious. Not inexpensive. But totally worth it. Would I go a couple times a year? Yes I would.

The staff and atmosphere were exquisite unfortunately the food was just ok considering the amazing reviews I've heard from other people in the restaurant reviewing world I think if the price was a little bit cheaper then it would be worth it for the service and atmosphere

Went here for breakfast as a recommendation from a coworker and was severely disappointed. Very little seating and extremely cramped dining area making it difficult to get to your seat. We each ordered breakfast and my wife ordered an iced coffee, I received my drink after a few minutes of waiting and we were told that the iced coffee would be coming shortly. That was the last we seen of our server until our food came out quite some time later with no iced coffee still, when we asked our server she told us that it was made and she had forgot to bring it out so they would make her a new one. Another 5 or so minutes later when our meals were mostly finished due to the small serving size my wife finally got her iced coffee (There was one other group in the restaurant at the time). The food wasn't overly good for the price as it was a pretty pricy meal and the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired so I couldn't recommend them personally.
