Hello, this restaurant has become my absolute favorite place for breakfast. For the past two years, every weekend that I’m in Edmonton, this is the place I choose. My favorite dishes are the lobster crepes and the duck eggs Benedict they’re exceptional.
There’s one thing I really want to highlight because it made a huge difference in my experience. The first time I tried the Chipotle Santa Maria drink, it was served with the jalapeño cut in half, and that detail made the drink unforgettable for me. It became one of the reasons I kept coming back.
Today, I ordered the drink again, and it came with sliced jalapeño instead. When I asked for it the original way, I was told it was no longer possible. I understand that recipes and procedures change, but I truly want to express how important that small detail was it elevated the drink and made it unique.
I kindly ask you to consider bringing back the option to have the jalapeño cut in half, even if it’s by request only. It may seem minor, but for loyal customers like me, these details matter. Being able to order it the way that made it special would genuinely make me very happy, and I hope you can take this into serious consideration.

We walked in because the place we had been going to dine in appeared disappointing. This small place appeared very nice with super friendly service and delicious food and matcha was also very good. Our server (the guy working around 12) was very friendly and caring. I really appreciate this level of service. The pancakes were tender and flavourful with nicely roasted cinnamon apples. I have never been here before but I’ll definitely check it out again for a coffee break!

Hana was a most wonderful server. The food was wonderful farm fresh eggs on artisan bread. Wow is all I can say about Hana though very attentive and pleasant service. Will most definitely be back.

EDIT: I would like to note to the response - I was born and raised in Europe and travelled within Middle East. How they cook their eggs is indeed not how I have ever had it in Europe. Still disappointed that how they cooked their eggs.
I’ve usually always had good service and food, however this last time was a huge let down. I got eggs benny, and asked the eggs to be cooked to medium. When I got mine the white of the egg was not cooked at all. My mom’s avocado toast arrived cold and the egg also had the same issue. Our server was great and he brought new ones made for us. This time at least the food arrived hot but the eggs were still undercooked. For a breakfast place I am quite shocked they could not cook eggs to medium. The whites were still quite runny and not cooked enough to be medium. Our server brought hard boiled eggs and took the eggs off of my eggs Benedict so I ended up having no hollandaise sauce with hard boiled eggs as my breakfast.. just was a quite let down for a place I actually quite liked.

I always try the Eggs Benedict at any new restaurant and Oeb did not disappoint. I had the Korean Bulgogi Benny and every bite was heaven. Paired with a few of their beyond delicious cocktails, and it was the best brunch I've had in a very, very long time. My dining partner and I have decided it will be our go to place to dine before every play we see at the Citadel Theater (4min walk).
Cannot rave enough about the service. Kind, polite, and absolute gems to interact with, and helpful with menu choices.
