Wish there was an option for 0 stars. Dined at this establishment with a group of 9 for a friends birthday. Service was absolutely horrible and the food was disgusting (cold, flavourless and fatty). Majority of our table works in the service industry..we understand that sometimes staff are new but regardless of the servers menu knowledge please hire people with table manners and who actually give a crap. Our complaints felt pushed to the side. At the end of the day, I blame management. Don't let "new" or clueless servers on the floor if they cant handle it. We complained over and over throughout our meal and got what? $5 off and a free round of shots? Management should have taken some responsibility and taken over our table, quality checked our food and taken care of the meals that were sent back, rang in incorrectly and/or didn't show up at all. The whole experience was embarrassing. Stay clear of this establishment if you want an enjoyable dining experience.

Was super excited to check this spot out but unfortunately this place does not even deserve 1 star in my opinion. I never leave reviews but after my experience here, it definitely needed to be done. The service was absolutely trash due to rude servers and unreasonable wait times. Waited forever just to get drinks and met with the most rudest and entitled bar tenders on the planet. Only thing good about this place is the decor and the music, that’s about it. Glad I didn’t try the food either, we would have probably waited an eternity for mediocre food. Anyways avoid this place at all costs because it is not worth it. Would not recommend!

My colleague and I just learned of this place via Google and decided to check it out. Turns out, not many know they're open for lunch. It's a lunch/dinner/bar spot on Rice Howard way. I was stoked to check out a new place.
1. The sign on the door said closed even though they were open. 2 I'm sure it was like 45°C in there. It was soo hot. 3. The server/hostess, while very kind, was also very slow which was wild given we were the only ones there. 4. Little knowledge of available drinks/wine. 5. We ordered the birria tacos and the bread and butter. BREAD AND BUTTER WAS INCREDIBLE!! The birria tacos were ok. The bottoms of the tacos gave out making it difficult to actually eat. It tasted ok but there was too much cilantro. The fries were really good also!
Overall, I would go back and give it another go but for now, my rating is 3 for everything.

We booked a reservation for my friends birthday dinner. There was 11 of us in our party. We walked into the restaurant and it was empty when we arrived for our reservation. I should’ve taken that as a sign on how our evening was going to go. Our reservation was for 7pm, we didn’t get our first drinks until 8pm and mine was a virgin mojito, and they were out of mint. I finally got a virgin drink at 8:05pm. Our food order wasn’t taken until 8:15pm, and we didn’t get our dinners until 9pm. All the meals came out at weird times, so we couldn’t even eat together. My husband steak he said was well Flavoured but one end of it was raw and the other was well done, annd his fries came out cold. ordered the ABLT no bacon as I don’t eat meat. It was terrible, but I was starving so I ate half of it. It had no flavour and just tasted like burnt toast. With minutes of only eating half of my sandwich i had to run to the bathroom. We had to leave her birthday dinner as I feel sick from the food. My friend who ordered the mussels said they just tasted frozen & freezer burnt. Even something simple, the truffle fries came out so greasy my friend couldn’t eat them. My friend who got the short ribs said it was so dry and didn’t finish it. Even the drinks were made terrible. They had to send back the espresso martini and the margarita. I’m not sure if it’s poor management or the staff all needs more training but no one seemed to have ahh clue what was going on there. The only thing okay was our server was friendly, and she tried but she was very slow. I felt bad as that whole restaurant let her down. I feel sick and I’m so disappointed that we had to go through that terrible experience.

I reserved for my hubby birthday, the service was terrible, waiting over hour for our orders, And getting wrong orders after long waiting, very disappointed, each time different person come to our table and say something different like “ oh we are busy or we are short staffed”. the restaurant wasn’t that busy at all , but they were not able to manage. I’m sorry but if you can’t handle normal amount of costumer don’t take reservations or Don’t open restaurant business. This place ruined our special day, this place was recommended by me to my hubby and friends and it was very embracing experience for me. we end up leaving without eating any food. they charged us our price for the drinks and appetizers. Absolutely not recommend for any occasion. ??????♀️

Came in for a reservation and the place was completely dead. We waited for about 5 minutes before receiving service. There was a dirty table next to us, and the server came to clean the table without acknowledging that we had sat down (the place was completely empty). Then a few minutes later she came back with water but no ‘welcome’, info on specials, even a ‘hi how are you’. We didn’t like the vibe so we ended up leaving and eating at the restaurant next door. Service with a smile goes a long way.

Very disappointing! The only thing good about this place is the atmosphere. We went in for a friends dinner and the service was absolutely horrible. For some odd reason they were taking orders separately and not together of the whole table. Half of us got our food while the rest of us still waited. Half of our food was forgotten and not put in which we had to wait an additional 45 minutes. It’s disappointing this happened where there were only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant. The food was subpar at best . The buns on our sliders were rock hard. The meat in the tacos was super dry.
Services was 5 stars thanks to my server Krissy!!! She was very attentive and recommended a lot of great things to eat and drink. Best service I’ve had in a while

Krissy was 10/10 for service, I highly recommend coming to see her on your next night out! Appetizers were better than a main course meal, bead and butter was 10/10, truffle fries were good but could use a better dip IMO, and the vodka pasta came out like soup, had WAYYY to much sauce and too overly spicy. Overall 4/5 will be back because of our girl Krissy !!!

It was a breeze party planning for my best friend. Not only because I knew she wanted to dance the night away but I also had Often in mind. After following on Instagram and knowing one of the bartenders, figured it was the perfect place! We dined before hand on Rice Howard way making it easy to roll in at 10pm. Birthday Girl was greeted by balloons and fun photo display. Which shot out to the bar staff for making that happen! Dropped it off early in the day and got it all ready for our arrival. Management (Lisa) was amazing to deal with from the minute I inquired about bday packages to seeing her that night of the birthday. Everything went off without a hitch and then some! Such a great vibe. I’d say mid 30’s + vibe! Seating area was great. Our server was helpful. The door staff were on point helping whenever or whatever we needed. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Looking forward to coming back to have dinner and cocktails. Looking for something more upscale on a fun night giving you a reason to dress up. Look no further than Often!

We popped in here after dinner on a weekend. The staff was so friendly and I loved that. The fact they were very welcome and warm for an upscale spot was refreshing. We wanted to spend our hard earned money here. The drinks were superb as you get what you paid for. I told them we had company from Vancouver and if they could hook up a nice spot. And, without any question, they did! Right by the dancefloor. We thought we were gonna have a nightcap and head home but the DJ was playing bangers so we continued to order drinks. The place was filled with mature professionals. It's definitely a spot I will come back to.
