I purchased a $30 gift card here, and they never loaded it with anything. Now I'm not one to call people scam artists when it's possible they are simply incompetent, but the end result is the same. I feel screwed over.Looks like they have adopted the University's style of customer service.

Went here for the first time and I can say the staff here are great. Ordered a drink and sat down for a bit and out of nowhere a man comes from the back of the restaurant yelling at his staff. He did not seemed like a manager but more of a owner. This dude is just rude and ruthless to his staff. One of the staff ran back crying. In my opinion I would not reccomend this place bore will I come back. Unbelievable.

I ordered hot choco here for the first time because it's close to sic - where I attended the meeting. However, it's super bland and to be honest, compared to the hot choco at Tim Hortons next door, it's terrible. I find Tim Hortons hot chocolate much thicker.

I don't live far from the 124th street location. Do I go often? No. I go less and less. Every time I go I'm reminded why I don't go. Which is unfortunate because it is the only late night cafe in my area. The staff is loud and obnoxious, talking with their peers over the noise of the cafe and patrons. And the drinks are overpriced and average in quality. I used to love remedy but it's quality dropped over the years. I think the owners got lazy. Nothing special about remedy anymore.

Very good every-time I visit.

This is part of a large Edmonton chain of great coffee houses. The lunch menu is really extensive. The hot drink selection is varied

I've order butter chicken wrap twice and both times it's been wrong. You have a 50/50 chance of getting it right and still no go.

Cannot get over how great the food here is! Three totally different food types and all 3 of us left talking about how this will be our forever go too. The flavours, the amazing service, just wow. A must stop spot

I came to your location in November for a work meeting. I am not vaccinated so I told my co worker we would have to get take out. We came first thing in the morning , he had his vaccine passport I did not . The barista would not even let me place a order for take out without a vaccination passport . I had to tell my co worker my coffee order and wait outside in the cold. I never didn’t make a scene about it I just left to stand out your door in the cold as my coworker placed the order while your barista just stared. This all after we had stood there for 5 minutes, then to be denied service and told to leave. I have made sure that family and friends know of your callousness to people based on medical choices or sickness or religious freedom that prevents people from getting a medical procedure. I sincerely hope you learn from your mistakes and that the loss of support from people who once supported you might aid you in this realization. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have always loved Remedy from the moment I moved to Edmonton 7 years ago & have supported them as often as possible throughout the years, but tonight has made me never want to go back. I was out for a walk with my friend that I hadn't seen in a long time & we were going to stop in to grab a drink to go, then continue on our way. I haven't eaten in anywhere since the pandemic started, I've only had delivery or carried out, never needing my proof of vaccine so I didn't even think I would need it, but I was turned away tonight because I didn't have proof on me. It was so very embarrassing & my friend had to buy my drink for me because I wasn't allowed in for 5 minutes. I felt like a second class citizen. I understand that businesses are trying their best to ensure the safety of their patrons (which really, the vaccine itself should be doing), but this is ridiculous.

Remedy Café was ok. If you’re already in the area and you want to meet someone for coffee then Remedy isn’t a bad choice. Is it good enough to go out of your way or to take someone someplace special? No. Probably not. My chai latte was better than average when compared to a place like Starbucks – and easy 4 stars. Is the best I’ve ever had? No, but it is definitely better than most. It seemed pretty clear to me that they truly care about the quality of their product. The quality of service wasn’t quite as good and would rate as a two-star below average experience. It’s not that the staff was rude or lazy, they were civil, but indifferent, to the customer. Making you feel welcome, showing joy in service, and taking pride in their work were all noticeably missing. Who knows? Maybe they all just went through some terrible tragedy the day before. All I know was that you couldn’t buy a smile for a hundred dollars the day I was there. The quality of the atmosphere was also a two-star experience – definitely below average. It was quite evident that this *used* to be a trendy little coffee shop, but the years have not been kind and the place has not been well-maintained. Little things like holes in the walls, chips in the paint, mis-matched light bulbs, mis-matched chairs, and worse than average level of cleanliness indicate that creating a good environment to share a cup with a friend has not been a high priority here. Overall Remedy Café was an ok experience. Better than average drinks in a worse than average environment. Not bad, but not awesome either.
