Ripe Tomato Pizza Whyte Ave

Happened upon this place walking down whyte ave looking for a late night bite on Monday Aug 25th. We walked in, ordered at the counter, and decided we’d eat in. There was only one woman working and wow- she was efficient and hard working. Despite this seeming like more of a walk up and grab it yourself kind of place, she hand delivered everything to our table- food, side plates, cutlery, and napkins. She was very pleasant and made a killer pizza! Highly recommend this place. Good quality ingredients and in my experience rare to find good Neapolitan pizza late at night.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ripe Tomatoes Pizza! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The owner clearly puts a lot of heart into the place, and it shows in both the food and the service. The pizza was out of this world—made in tandoor - crispy, fresh, and loaded with flavor. Every bite was perfection.
This spot is a gem on White Ave, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch pizza experience. Can’t wait to come back!

We frequent the ripe tomato every time we make down to whyte ave. Being a pizza snob that makes his own dough and sauce and has a wood fire pizza oven i am very particular when we go out for pizza. They use a wood fire/gas combo oven from Italy the ingredients are always fresh and the sauce is savory. The margarita is my favourite. Seems like a family owned business and are extremely nice people. Highly recommend!

Nice atmosphere to sit and chat if you want, and quick, friendly service if you want a pizza to go. I ordered a 9in mushroom pizza with vegan cheese and it was perfect with a crispy crust.

Absolutely loved our visit to this pizza place! They let you fully customize your pizza just the way you like it – from crust to toppings – and everything was fresh and delicious.

The staff were super friendly and took our order accurately without any hassle. Great customer service all around. The ambiance of the store was also really nice – clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It definitely made a great first impression.

Visited some time ago, but I do recall the pizza was cooked perfectly, good ratio of cheese sauce and dough. Ordered over the phone and when I arrived I was surprised to see samosas in the hot display as well so took a samosa to try, was equally as good not the greasy kind of samosa packed with potato and filling. Overall good service, friendly staff clean establishment would be back again

I can honestly say this is the best pizza I have had in Edmonton, it has such a distinct flavor due to the Pizza being cooked by flame. It is also easily the least greasy pizza I have ever had and while a greesy pizza doesn't bother me much there are others whom I know would appreciate this pizza for that reason alone. Not only that but after stuffing myself to the brim I didn't feel sick or like I was overly bloated like I would after a Dominos or Royal pizza. This is my new go to pizza place, it's a little more expensive but it's well worth it.

Stumbled onto this gem after getting out of a concert at Rogers place that ran late. First impressions were that the restaurant was clean, well lit and welcoming. The pizza was made fresh to order and was very delicious! Will definitely be back if in the area again!

Very disappointed, when the food was pulled out of the bag I could smell burnt food. I never judge till I open the food. The fries are burnt, the pasta is tasteless and the breadsticks are hard as rocks. First time ordering from here. Uber eats is useless for help. Won’t order from here again. Very sadly disappointed as I just lived and was looking for a good homemade meal. Not something an underage teenager would have made and messed up.

Ordered wings and Parm bread. Wings were partially burned and got me and my kid sick. Avoid.

And then when they read my review of the very last place I ate the deny and brush it off. Not very professional.
