We’ve been coming to The Sawmill restaurants for years - maybe 30 or more. In the past, the service was top knotch, high end; the ambiance was dark, cozy, romantic and the food presentation and taste was always spot on….I’m so disappointed to say that our last visit was far from any of our past experiences. Firstly, the ambiance is now ‘cafeteria’ like. The lighting is full blast, tables are not beautifully set prior to arrival, tables are not positioned to provide the restaurant with a cozy, romantic, high end feel A The fireplace wasn’t even lit! Our server was polite and VERY enthusiastic! ‘Awesome! That’s what I like to hear!!’ Is not conducive to the level of dining experience we expected. The food was mediocre. Again, not the level of The Sawmill of the past. I have to wonder if Tom Goodchild still owns/operates this restaurant? The group may have won dining accolades in the past but it’s been a while….??♀️. It’s sad to see how this restaurant’s style has diminished. We were expecting a nice private romantic evening in a restaurant with. Setting to match our expectations….we didn’t get that at all. Not sure if it’s just this location or if other locations have deteriorated as well….

Very good food took my roommate out when I got back from camp and the prices were great food was awesome had 4 different servers so never left unattended, good job but I only give 1 tip lol

This was our go to place for special celebrations. We will not return. Our server Austin was polite and helpful. The food was dry ... really dry and the decor needs huge updates. My chair had tape on it, bathrooms had ceiling tiles missing. I could go on and on but I will not. It was a horrible disappointment and we arent picky people by no means. Lesson learned.

Went to sawmill in terralosa for my wedding reception august 14,2021. We has super Sanjay as our waiter and he was great. Punctual, friendly and kind. We was able to handle a party of 22 with ease. Orders were taken promptly and our drinks always full. I would definitely come back. All our guest were happy. The sawmill even aloud an outside cake and decorations.

My wife and myself went for dinner on July 24 2021, service was excellent seated promptly our waiter was Sanjay very professional we ordered a couple of drinks an appetizer and I ordered the prime rib medium well, it was excellent unfortunately my wife ordered the cab centre cut steak medium rare when it arrived it was very well done mentioned it to Sanjay and he was excellent took the plate and said that another one would arrive shortly. Unfortunately the manager Trinity came over and stated to my wife that the steak was fine and that she should check the centre of the steak but not to worry another one was on the way, my wife usually eats the entire steak when she orders one not just the centre, if another one was on the way I don’t understand why Trinity had to belittle my wife. Sadly we will not be returning here.

My husband and I went to your restaurant to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. We waited in the front for someone to show up to seat us. Once she finally showed up she took us upstairs to our table which was clean and quiet. Unfortunately we waited and waited for our waitress/waiter to show up for over 10 minutes. At that point we just got up and left. This experience was VERY disappointing.

Sour experience.Gave my steak to someone else, gave me theirs.Still a steak, but overcooked to my liking.The Mrs had the Chicken Neptune, was overcooked. Dry chicken.Not anywhere near worth a $100 bill.Employees sitting at the bar while we waited for drinks and our order. One poor server left to serve everyone.Will not be returning. Would not recommend.

I booked a table for patio service for my wife’s birthday. I received confirmation of my reservation through OpenTable, but when we arrived, they weren’t even open. It is pretty ignorant and disrespectful to waste people’s time like that. We had a very late dinner by the time we found something else.

We went for Easter Brunch and the food was outstanding. All Covid-19 protocols in place. It has 2 floors. Washrooms are downstairs. Wonderful experience.

I had a 100/10 experience at Sawmill tonight. I was celebrating my 28th birthday with my girlfriends and the way the manager Tyco went above and beyond meant the world to me. He was so professional and kind. I will literally go there any time I want to celebrate a special occasion from this experience. The server Brianne was so educated with the drinks and food menu as well. She was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Thank you to both Tyco and Brianne for this amazing birthday! Cheers
