The Sherlock Holmes Pub Downtown

We were looking for something with in walking distance from our hotel and on our was the the theatre and was recommended this place from our hotel. We really enjoyed the atmosphere the staff was friendly kept our drinks topped up, I had the Mac and cheese and my wife had the chicken pot pie my wife’s only complaint was there wasn’t enough sauce once you break up the bread other than that everything tasted good we left full

Had lunch today at Sherlock Holmes. I tried the pakora burger which was delicious and a huge step up from their previous veggie burger. Our server, Amanda P, was warm and polite. Excellent service. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

The bartender was so grumpy.

Rude staff, tough steak, horrible service. I ordered something to go at the end and it was the first thing they brought The dry ribs they have on special for 12 dollars on Friday have hardly any meat. The steak was not a strip loin and was dry and tough, the gravy they charge 4 dollars for was way too salty. Bad attitudes after giving me a discount they charge me full price of $17 for the ribs and then the manager accosted me, yelling at me not to return. Like as if I would.

I came with my sisters after the afternoon Citadel performance. It was very easy to get to from the play. I've never been to Sherlock Holmes before. I was 3xpecting it to be very busy, as the Grey Cup game was on. The food, I had the Chicken Pot Pie was amazing. The Shepherds pie, my sister said, was also very good.
We attend the Citadel a few times a year. I would definitely eat here again!!

A charming little pub tucked away in downtown Edmonton. We ended up here after discovering Craft across the street was closed, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work; great service all around.

The menu is what you’d expect from a classic pub, and we were happy with our meals. They also offer an impressive selection of beers, which was a definite plus.
