The tan tan ramen is a standout favorite, though it’s occasionally a special item. The restaurant also has a decent selection, including Bao buns, gyoza, and takoyaki. The Chicken Shoyu Ramen features fresh noodles and a deliciously flavorful broth, making for a satisfying experience. The friendly staff is attentive and courteous, and the cozy atmosphere makes this hidden gem a top lunch spot. Although parking can be difficult to find and signage is not completely visible, the restaurant is located inside Monty’s restaurant. Highly recommended for ramen lovers and fans of amazing fried chicken, this spot is considered one of the best Japanese restaurants in Edmonton, with generous portions that offer great value for the price.
