This was definitely the best tacos I've ever had. But the service was absolutely horrible. We waited for almost 1 hour to get our appetizers, it was just chips and salsa. The young lady served a table that came in 20 minutes after us, she took their orders first. I had to stop her to take ours. She gave them their chips within 10 minutes. We waited 40 minutes. I had to keep walking up to the counter to ask for things, they dumped the chips in a basket within 2 minutes but had us waiting for ever. Then they brought our food out but not my friends because the waitress forgot to add her order in.They never checked on our table once for drinks and we asked for take out boxes, as we were done eating by the time my friend got her food. Then they took forever for the boxes. So we reached over the counter and grabbed them ourselves.The food was really good, except my friend who has been there before didn't like her food as it was different. I'm assuming they rushed it because they forgot her order.Basically, the whole process was 2-3 hours just to get service and I had to get up and ask where everything was. We were also not the only table frustrated l, 3 other tables wanted to walk out because they were waiting for almost an hour just to get their orders taken.The waitress was very slow and was on the phone and chatting instead of keeping up with her tables.

Friends and I went last night. It was super busy when we got there so we had to wait 15 min. Was there an online Tuesday special I hadn’t heard about? No idea but they were getting a lot of delivery orders. The service was very slow last night. We were not the only table to notice. It took 20 min to get an appetizer, chicken tortilla soup. It wasn’t mine so I didn’t taste it. My friends that ordered it said it was really good. It smelled delicious. Our entrees came 15/20 after. Three people ordered the enchiladas which they all loved. I ordered Carne Asada. I wish I had ordered the enchilada. If this has been my first visit, this dish would make me not want to go back. The steak was very over done, the pasta ones were also over done, they were so hard I couldn’t eat them, my dish came with coleslaw, I didn’t think was Mexican but ok, it was good. The rice with my dish was a small amount, was cold and had no flavour. The guacamole did not look house made. We will likely go back but I won’t order that dish again. Some might ask, why didn’t I send it back? Well then I wait 20 min for a new dish while my friends eat, or my friends wait for my dish to be remade and their food gets cold.Wheelchair accessibility: Tight but do-able

Went with my sister, not a bad little set up. Asked about plant based options, no dairy, the tacos they offer for vegetarians are basically just the fajita pepper-onion mix. They removed the cheese and crema, however didn't add anything else, not even cilantro or a bit of guac. The waitress did not visit our table one after we ordered, empty water glasses, no offer for another beverage or ask how the food was. There are far better places in town that offer more authentic food, appreciate their customers, and cater to different requirements. Mediocre at best

Felices dos años, Smokin Barrels !Met with a warm greeting upon arrival and immediately received a cookie The food was amazing and generously proportioned. Pleasantly surprised that the waitress knew minimal English but the English she knew was great. It was nice to hear Spanish music and Spanish chatter amongst the staff. Authentic in every way. My partner and I were sharing our 15 year anniversary on their 2 year anniversary so we were even more stoked to see 10% off our bill. The best first impression and new favourite spot. I have never been in person but I have ordered 4 times through Uber eats or for pick up, out of those times only once was the food ready in a timely manner. Everytime I have had to wait 1-2 hours before just cancelling and having to order somewhere else. Terrible service when it comes to takeout orders.

The food is amazing! Have had tacos in Toronto at taco compititions, and in Vancouver at "authentic" places and this by far blows everyone else out of the water. I will dream of these tacos as I am not a local. The younger male server was ok, he never brought cutlery (got our own from a diff table) and didnt refill waters. He was busy at first but then he was just socializing with the younger female staff. Service deff could improve but the food is incredible. Friend had the burrito and it was really big and really full. Pleaseeee open more locations. You would do soo well in BC and ON.
