“The food is always great. The staff are friendly. My only suggestion for the owners is pls have more than one employee to fun the show. The wait times are slow and could be improved. When one person has to take orders, and deal with skip, and make meals for in store and to go and skip… time adds up. The staff are great and friendly. I feel bad for them tho. They place is clean and tidy. Bathrooms are clean. As mentioned just under staffed.“

“Thanks to the hard-working Chongqing boss, we can eat such authentic Chongqing taste in Alberta, such as beef noodles, fat sausage noodles, and pea fried noodles. I have missed it for a long time and heard about its name for a long time. Today I finally have the opportunity to visit Chongqing in Edmonton. Eat noodles at a small noodle shop. It's even better than expected. Not only does the taste be authentic, the ingredients are solid, the portion is generous, the noodles are freshly made, and they are very chewy and delicious. This trip is so worth it.“

“We ordered Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Broccoli. These were some of the best soups we've had. I wouldn't order from Uber again as it was too expensive ordering it that way. However we loved the soup it was absolutely delicious just we will go to the restaurant next time.“

Our server ( I apologize as I have forgotten her name) was so friendly and very attentive.
My husband and I each got the borscht. We both really liked it but, it was a little too sweet for me. We also shared the rouladen and we both enjoyed that as well.
Our dinner mates had the cabbage roll and the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and they both very much enjoyed their meals as well.

“I love this place. I typically stay away from large corporate type business' but Chopped Leaf is unique in what they offer; Salads which can be made into bowls, sandwiches and wraps. The portions are generous, taste is fresh and delicious, the service is friendly, efficient and proactive. I enjoy getting my lunch from here, but I really like their catering. As the hospitality manager for a law firm, this place is so convenient when I need to pick up a hearty and healthy lunch for a last minute meeting for 2 people or for 10. I know I can order online via their super user friendly website. I can have it delivered or walk a short distance to go pick it up. I have not encountered any issues with time, quality or quantity. I feel fortunate to have them as a (preferred) option.“

“If you're looking for some great sandwiches, this place is one of my favourite lunch spots in Edmonton. They absolutely load their sandwiches full of toppings and the prices are fantastic. They have some good lunch specials, and delicious extras like cookies and banana bread. Because they're closed on the weekends, I often have a hard time getting there, but I go out of my way to go there for lunch when I have the chance. It's in an industrial area and obviously caters to the people who work nearby as a lunch spot, but I love this place so much! The people who work there are always super friendly and as soon as there's a lull in their busy lunch line, they stop by your table to check on you. I highly recommend checking this place out if you have the chance and you're looking for a great sandwich!

“Blue Quill Chinese Food had been our go to place for about 10 years. Until about 2 -3 years ago, we felt the quality had just gone down hill. I’m sure alot of restaurants/business’s struggled back then. But pretty much every dish was just filled with onions and carrots and spouts, and small amounts of the actual item we’d order, and flavour wasn’t there either. We tried a couple times, but eventually stopped ordering from there unfortunately.

Well last night my kiddo begged for Chinese food, and since we haven’t found other places in the neighbourhood that we’ve loved either, I clicked on Blue Quill and started reading the reviews. It stated they've been under new management, and had some good experiences. We ordered, and I have to say I was so impressed and happy! Not alot of extra fillers, flavour was great, portion sizes were amazing . The chicken balls are GINORMOUS! With big pieces of chicken inside. Their sweet and sour sauce is the only one I actually like, more sweet then sour and the deep red color. Reminds me of the one that was served at a restaurant in BC that I used to work at.

I know in all those years, the original owners were absolutely sweet and hard working, I have no idea if they are still there, and just getting some help, but I’m truly happy to have my go to place back!

We ordered the Dinner for 2 combo with spring rolls. Subbed Pineapple Chicken Balls for just sweet and sour, and added an order of Shanghai Noodles (has Bbq pork-yumm) and received a free order of Deep Fried Wontons.“

“Food is ok in general. Unfortunately they are more worry asking you how is the food than in the actual service. I bet they came at least 10 times asking about the food. My glass of water was half empty most of the time. I’ve got a refilled once. At the end, we checked the bill and we’ve got charge PST- WTH? I cannot imagine how many other people got charges and didn’t even know! Not impressed! I like most of the food, fried chicken needs it more flavour. The rest was good!“

“We have been ordering sandwiches and treats for all our staff during the busy holidays at our shop. For over a decade They keep us fed and happy. We had to get individual wrapped sandwiches during the pandemic. And they were fabulous as always. The food is delicious. The service is amazing. Thank you for feeding us during our busiest times.“

“This place is unreal. Why? Hand pulled noodles. Mouth watering broth. I had the house special beef noodle soup. I don’t know how they marinated and stewed that beef but let me tell you this is marry me beef noodle soup. Why? Get down there and find out! The bowl is gigantic. They want you to eat like you’re a guest at your friends auntie’s house. Bring an appetite. And the spoon is dope. This changed the game for me. I’ll be back“

I have only ordered delivery so I can't speak to the restaurant experience but the food is delicious!

The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the meat comes frozen for the Pho soup and it cools the broth right off.

Portions are great!

“We have a chance to eat here last weekend for the first time. Talk about flavourful dishes. This restaurant has the most tasteful food I have had with a lot of all you can eat. Let alone the broth, tastes amazing. Friendly atmosphere for diners new in the place. Here are the best in the menu in my opinion. A4. Rice Noodle Soup with Braised Bone-in and A11. Sea Food Tom Yum Gong Rice Noodle. My favourite desserts hands down is E7. Deep- Fried Pumpkin Pancake with Red Bean Paste. Will definitely recommend and come back again. 10/10“

“It's the best food and diet to eat. For people with diabetes and to prevent diabetes and dementia which are strongly linked. Virgin olive oil, and naturally oily fish are anti inflammatories to the brain; while vegetable fats sugar salts are destructive to the brain and the heart. Chopped leaf is the best because it's the Mediterranean diet, proven by research as the best healthiest diet, brown rice not white is too, that's at chopped leaf. Chicken, nuts is protein and good for yo. Freshii is also good in a similar way. Half the plate should be fresh natural leafy greens, a quarter protein such as nuts, chicken, beef, a quarter carbs.“
