“The food is really good here. They definitely fill your package full of food and dressing. I have no complaints about this location. I only order from this one. However, skip the dishes driver the estimate was 22 minutes, it ended up taking 47 minutes. Not happy with skip the dishes, but that is not the restaurant’s fault as for the restaurant I give it five stars the food is very good, and was made on time. It’s just unfortunate that the skipped the dishes Driver wasn’t on time.“

“Healthy portions. I started with Kim chi (and a side of rice because usually the Kim chi usually needs a starch to tame the spice). Well the Kim chi was delicious all by itself. I ate the rice anyway and basically spoiled my appetite for the color bowl. Lesson learned.“

“Food is ok in general. Unfortunately they are more worry asking you how is the food than in the actual service. I bet they came at least 10 times asking about the food. My glass of water was half empty most of the time. I’ve got a refilled once. At the end, we checked the bill and we’ve got charge PST- WTH? I cannot imagine how many other people got charges and didn’t even know! Not impressed! I like most of the food, fried chicken needs it more flavour. The rest was good!“

“I stopped by The Sandwich Project on Christmas Eve to quickly grab a few sandwiches for my husband and sons who were arriving at the Edmonton airport, based on the great reviews — and I’m so glad I did. The staff were happy to assist, offered helpful recommendations, and made the experience quick and pleasant despite the busy holiday. The Tex-Mex sandwiches were delicious, and my husband and sons really enjoyed them when they arrived in town. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the young lady working there was kind and helpful. I truly appreciated the excellent service and quality food.“

“If you're looking for some great sandwiches, this place is one of my favourite lunch spots in Edmonton. They absolutely load their sandwiches full of toppings and the prices are fantastic. They have some good lunch specials, and delicious extras like cookies and banana bread. Because they're closed on the weekends, I often have a hard time getting there, but I go out of my way to go there for lunch when I have the chance. It's in an industrial area and obviously caters to the people who work nearby as a lunch spot, but I love this place so much! The people who work there are always super friendly and as soon as there's a lull in their busy lunch line, they stop by your table to check on you. I highly recommend checking this place out if you have the chance and you're looking for a great sandwich!

“Yummy! My sandwich was so delicious, again. The bread was crispy as were the vegetables. The meat was fresh and there was just the right amount of pate. I have had at least five banh mi cold cut sandwiches in the past month or so. The staff are very friendly and quick to take your order and get you a glass of water if you are ordering to go. My favorite go to place for a nice light bite. Thanks Da Kao!!“

“Blue Quill Chinese Food had been our go to place for about 10 years. Until about 2 -3 years ago, we felt the quality had just gone down hill. I’m sure alot of restaurants/business’s struggled back then. But pretty much every dish was just filled with onions and carrots and spouts, and small amounts of the actual item we’d order, and flavour wasn’t there either. We tried a couple times, but eventually stopped ordering from there unfortunately.

Well last night my kiddo begged for Chinese food, and since we haven’t found other places in the neighbourhood that we’ve loved either, I clicked on Blue Quill and started reading the reviews. It stated they've been under new management, and had some good experiences. We ordered, and I have to say I was so impressed and happy! Not alot of extra fillers, flavour was great, portion sizes were amazing . The chicken balls are GINORMOUS! With big pieces of chicken inside. Their sweet and sour sauce is the only one I actually like, more sweet then sour and the deep red color. Reminds me of the one that was served at a restaurant in BC that I used to work at.

I know in all those years, the original owners were absolutely sweet and hard working, I have no idea if they are still there, and just getting some help, but I’m truly happy to have my go to place back!

We ordered the Dinner for 2 combo with spring rolls. Subbed Pineapple Chicken Balls for just sweet and sour, and added an order of Shanghai Noodles (has Bbq pork-yumm) and received a free order of Deep Fried Wontons.“

“Large bowls of yummy and chewy hand made noodles with hot broth. Very comforting. We had the duck noodle soup, wonton noodle soup and lan's beef noodle soup between a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 adults) and this was plenty. You have a choice between 5 type of noodles and we picked classic style for all ours dishes. They had cutlery and cups for the kids which I thought was thoughtful. There were 2 staff in total there (both prepared the food and also served tables) on a Sunday night and I thought they were very efficient and got the job done. We ordered green onion cake as a starter but they came out after the noodles, towards the end of the meal but we understood as it got busy and there were only 2 workers. I don't have any photos to post as we gobbled everything up. One other thing I liked was they had plenty of vegan options which was great for my sister. All in all, would definately recommend and we will likely be back another time!“
