I had an unpleasant experience with a young female staff member. We had ordered a cake pop, and she double-checked our order. After picking up our drinks, she didnât give us the cake pop we had ordered and was busy cleaning the floor. Only when we asked for the pickup did she finally hand us a cake popâone that we hadnât even ordered.
When I told her, âThatâs not what we ordered,â her facial expression was outrageous. Wasnât it her mistake? Who was she trying to blame? She didnât curse at us out loud, but her expression was no different from swearing, and there was no apology whatsoever. Or maybe that young employee was just having a bad day? I donât understand why she had to dump her bad mood on us. I will not be returning.

Bad experience. Charged twice and they had no clue how to handle it. Manager wouldn't leave the office. Told the barista to void the transaction but didn't know you can't do that on their terminals. Why are people So clueless ? Learn your job !!

I only write reviews when I feel a strong need not do so, and with this Starbucks experience at the Ellerslie location it was a must! If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely zero customer service, rudeness, disrespect, and absolutely no communication skills. My 16-year-old son was treated poorly and with judgement and no words can describe how unprofessional a very simple matter was handled. I truly feel that Starbucks should reevaluate their training program, specifically spotlighting this location, as I have been to other locations and it has been delightful. Very disappointing!! Donât waste your money there, choose another Ellersly location. Bad vibes creates bad drinks.

I've been a frequent flyer at starbucks for many moons now. Visiting dozens if not hundreds of locations all over the world. This location is my favorite however. Even though there are 2 other locations closer to my house and they don't even have nitro I still choose to go the extra distance to attend this location. Everyone at this location is so friendly and Full of smiles. I absolutely adore the quick chats and the positive energy they pass on to make my days great!
