I walked from my downtown office to get a chai at lunch. It's very cute and small cafe. I really liked the chai, and I got a really yummy smores scone.

I am going to keep this review succinct and precise. These folks have the best HK milk tea in Edmonton.

I had Stopgap coffee on my list of places to check out & I'm super happy that I finally stopped in. First off, super barista and great service. Second, and most critically, absolutely fantastic coffee. I had a latte and an Americano and both were about the best I've had in a long time. Lastly, Friday is donut day and they were excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. This is my new "go to" coffee stop on the north side! As an aside, the prices were reasonable as well.

I loved my first experience here today, such a cool little spot with a great vibe.
My Dirty Chai Latte was fantastic, the staff and other customers were super friendly, plus a lot of local art and cards for sale.
I also had a root beer brioche doughnut type pastry, I can't remember what it was called exactly but it was amazing. Great flakey dough, flavourful root beer filling that wasn't all sugar, and a nice little glaze on top.
I've never really had a favorite coffee shop before but I definitely do now. Looking forward to my next visit.

It’s literally a house that also serves as a coffee shop, which was surprising. The interior is very cute, and the atmosphere is welcoming because it’s small and feels cozy inside. I ordered a chai latte and a croissant. The staff is nice, friendly, and easy to talk to, making the place just adorable.

Customers have already commented on the quality, extreme cuteness and economy of a single owner/ operator except on weekends. I'll add that the clever reclaimed and painted bike frame- rack thingy out front adds a welcome place for my two-wheeler!

It’s not easy to find tasty coffee in Canada with all Starbucks’ and Blenzes around, so this little cafe acceded my expectations, and by far! VERY good oat latte and yummy pastries. Friendly and cosy atmosphere too, Stopgap will be my go-to place for coffee in Edmonton from now on:)

Very cozy atmosphere! not a ton of seating inside but nice place to stop in and grab a drink on your walk! We got the matcha and london fog and both were really good!

They had run out of food when we were there but we were the last few. They did however have candy. The coffee was very good and they had a puzzle on the go.

The place is lovely, very chill, and they do list "alternative milk" (if I remember correctly) for a dollar, but the menu doesn't say more than that.
Quaint, tiny coffee shop in a historic building! The espresso tonic is particularly good
