I have always loved the Sugar Bowl but I will not return anytime soon. I was very disappointed by the service and management tonight. It is disappointing that customer service is no longer a priority here. While the food, beverage, and atmosphere remain good, the service is so abysmal I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I am so impressed with Sugarbowl!! My friend and I are from out of town and I have a severe allergy to Gluten and Dairy, from our phone call with Brian, who is an amazing Host 👏 to Jen our server again amazing 👏 the atmosphere 👏 The Food 😋 Definitely 15 out of 10 🥳
We will most definitely be returning on our next trip.

Highlights.....from 1995 to 1998 the Sugarbowl was the place I met with friends almost every evening for a great cup of coffee and a great atmosphere. I haven't been in Edmonton since 2000 but I see the Bowl as we used to call it back then is still doing great. Good to see.....old memories are worth more than any cup of coffee.

Located at the top of the river valley, this charming spot is perfect for brunch, lunch, or late-night drinks, and is well worth the 20-minute wait without a reservation. With an incredible selection of local beers and cocktails, Sugarbowl is a warm and inviting Edmonton institution with great value and friendly, attentive staff.
