My Japanese wife and I were recommended to go here by her Japanese friends in Edmonton, we drove from Red Deer to eat here and were extremely happy that we did. It is Japanese-family owned and operated, and it's obvious that they take pride in the quality of their food.
We will definitely be making the drive in the future to eat here again. It's better than any of the sushi places in Calgary as well.

My wife Maureen and I loved our first meal here. We especially loved the smoked salmon, California, and spicy tuna Maki. Thank you Sushi Wasabi. We’ll be back!

The aesthetic of the restaurant is visually appealing and was very cute. We were a group of 6 and our server had to mention this 2 times that a tip of 18% would be mandatory, which was fine. Food was great and they had lots of selections. The salmon sashimi I had tasted off for some reason, but the rest were good.

I’ve visited many cafés and restaurants with my baby, but this was by far the least baby-friendly experience I’ve ever had. The lady serving us was rude and unwelcoming from the start. We still decided to order, but when my sushi arrived, I found hair in it. They apologized, remade the dish, and even added an extra, but the overall experience left a very bad impression. I won’t be going back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place if you have a child or a baby.

Heard good things from friends and colleagues about this place over the years, and finally got a chance to visit.
Pleasant, peaceful unassuming little restaurant, Japanese owned. I got their beef Bento which felt authentic, fresh and definitely on the high end of Edmonton quality. They focus on more traditional offerings here so none of those fusion rolls etc. Definitely will be back if I want to fill my sushi craving within Edmonton. 😀
