Great place. Tasty, generous and reasonably priced dishes.Kudos for keeping the place spotless, inside as well as on the outside, despite the rather questionable area the restaurant is located at.

Rarely do I give a restaurant 5 stars in anything; however, Thanh Thanh hit the marks this week. My companion and I parked in the back. They had been here before and knew the back door was open. It felt like I was entering illegally, which added to the anticipation. Thanh Thanh has a reputation of amazing food and excellent service. They sure lived up to their name. Portions were amazing, and the dishes were perfect. Not too much sauce and just enough rice to fluff the entrees. You must visit, at the least order take out. My only disappointment was that they are closed Sundays and Mondays.

I got rare beef pho as always. Their pho was so good!!! The soup has little strong taste than other pho restaurants, but it was amazing?❤️ Also the beef was soft and tastes. I will definitely try other foods there again.

Been going to this restaurant for a long time.Parking: There’s limited parking at the back of the restaurant. A little tight for trucks but free.

A family favorite and it did not disappoint! Food came out quick and hot and delicious. Favorites include the Ginger Beef, Honey Glazed Chicken and the Lemon Grass Chicken in Spicy coconut sauce.Parking: Some spaces behind the building but awkward to get out. We usually opt for the street if after 6pm or on the weekend

Still the best asian restaurant in all of Edmonton, in my opinion. I visit once a year when I'm here for a conference.Food is consistent, delicious, reasonably priced, portioned well and still family-owned after all these years!Vegetarian options: Meat is not in every dish!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Northern, Central or Satay all of their Pho noodle soups are epic. Our food was prepared super fast and it was fantastic. They always have quality food and friendly staff.

The spicy beef satay soup is all you need to know and have at this place- to DIE for! Be prepared for how spicy it can be though - if you can’t do very spicy, ask for a mild version of it!Sadly this resto is not open very late - I’d come here more often for dinner if it was! But can also understand that it’s just as good for lunch. Amazing staff and service here too - certainly one of the best restaurants in Edmonton for all occasions!

My friend informed me that this restaurant has been here since he was a kid. We showed up at 1:30 pm, after the lunch rush.I ordered a vermicelli bowl with beef and pork, but I advised the waitress I didn't want the shrimp. This seemed to fluster her as she struggled to get the order right. When my food arrived, I had 2 orders, 1 with shrimp and 1 without.Vermicelli bowls are fairly standard for a Vietnamese restaurant, so this should be great food. There was an overwhelming odor of fish with my food. I didn't order fish, and neither did my friend. Unfortunately, it's hard to taste anything else but fish - disappointing.

Best Vietnamese food in the City.**Update** years later, still the best Vietnamese food in Edmonton. Yang Chow Fried Rice never disappoints. The Spicy Szechuan Chicken is always tender with a balanced sweet heat. The special vermicelli is always a hit.
