I personally am not a huge fan of most of the menu but the food is always fresh and this is my kids favourite restaurant by a landslide! We just did our back to school lunch trip here today and the service was very fast. (What I assume was) The owner made sure we were well taken care of a couple times and finished our visit with a lollipop for each kid :)
This nostalgic Italian eatery in downtown Edmonton offers a memorable dining experience with old fashioned decor and hearty dishes. The pasta is tender with rich sauces, the garlic bread is warm and buttery, and the entrees like lasagna and chicken parmigiana are satisfying. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I enjoyed a dinner with family…the atmosphere feels like stepping back in time with quirky antiques and a cozy vibe....
We love the lunch set here, it includes a soup or salad, sourdough bread, a main dish, ice cream and a coffee or tea. It's so satisfying even though the size of the main is smaller than a regular order. For the soup, you can upgrade to other soups like clam chowder. The lasagna was very good! And the ice cream was okay too.
