Last time we only went for drinks. This time we went for supper on thanks giving day . Most places were closed . The staff was so nice and accommodating. They basically opened just for us when I phoned for reservation. It was a great evening and experience as is our first thanks giving celebration . Food was amazing , the steak cooked to perfection. Thank you so much .

My husband went to this spot for a lunch meeting a couple weeks ago and said the food, service, and drinks were all very good and that I should join him there some time. Instead, I went with our friend for dinner last week, on Wednesday I believe. We were the only table. The menu has nice drinks, I ordered a drink, waitress said she couldn’t make it, the same thing with 2 more drinks I asked for so I just ordered a beer and I don’t really like beer that much. She stood behind the bar on her phone for 10 minutes before bringing the beer. Our bill was wrong but we just wanted to go. Perhaps, it’s just a good lunch spot because my husband took pics of his food and drink and it was nothing like what I experienced. Maybe just a bad evening.

I am floored that this place isn’t filled to the brim every night. The wings are so dang good 100x better than the pint. The price is also amazing, 5$ beers with 10$ wings on Wednesday? Then you have the vibes that are unreal. Really, Edmonton crowd fill this classy establishment up.

Food was tasty, but nothing special. Not many people inside and we still had slow and mediocre service.

I don’t typically leave reviews anymore, because we tend to stick to the same places. We wanted to check out a new place during the fringe, we came across town 82 right on whyte ave. It’s very bright, inviting, clean, with beautiful plants in the entrance. Our waitress, Brook came by immediately with menus and lead us to a booth. She looked very busy and I think she was working alone but she did not leave our drinks empty, and refilled our water glass without us asking.
Brook was such a light, she was managing about a lot of tables at the same time, we were watching her make our drinks and she was smiling and happy while doing so, we really enjoyed her energy.
I definitely recommend the grilled garlic surf and turf, our waitress recommended it for steak options and the meal is better than most steakhouses at a fraction of the cost.
We will be returning!

Excellent Service!
We had a fantastic dining experience thanks to our server, charissa. They were attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations from the menu. Our drinks were never empty, and the timing of each course was perfect. It's clear they genuinely care about making guests feel welcome. We'll definitely be back!
Ate charisa was superb and friendly!

From the minute we sat down at a clearly not wiped table and the waitress looked at us like a deer caught in headlights and didn’t catch the dirty table, I knew we were in trouble. The menu appeared to be general pub fair. As it was our first time, I wasn’t sure what to order and asked for recommendations from the waitress. None of what she recommended was to my taste (not her fault) so I chose the fish and chips. We were there at the climax of the Fringe festival and it was the only place we could find a table. Despite the low population, the restaurant/bar had no sound damping and I could barely hear my husband speak. The fish and chips came for me. $21: my husband ordered the pizza which was only slightly better than a grocery store frozen pizza. The fish and chips were Captain Highliner triangles with some
Sort of creamy soup on a bed of lettuce they called coleslaw. The tartar sauce was fresh squeezed from a Kraft bottle. I sent it back and at that point didn’t trust that the rest of the food wouldn’t be more of the same. My sangria was weak. My martini was mostly water but yay, it had three olives! They were completely out of IPA on Whyte, the snobbiest beer clientele during the Fringe. My husband opted for a lager in his disappointment. The prices were really high for the calibre of restaurant/bar this is. You can’t charge high cocktail prices when you are pairing it with convenience store calibre food. On Whyte. The original waitress even forgot to bring us water and took away half my watered down martini instead of my husband’s empty food plate. In the end they charged us for everything. Please, if you are looking for a nice meal, don’t bother.
