This is it. This is what dining should be like. It's a tiny hole in the wall, maybe 10 tables. So make sure to plan ahead. Also, eyes open going in, it's not the cheapest place you'll visit. That said, it's a perfect combination between amazing food, with wines to match, great and friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. We had a made menu with four preselected dishes, all of them great, with the risotto and in house made sausage heads above the shrimp and bacon. The last being their signature dish, amazing flavors, but couldn't match up to the aforementioned two dishes. We also got two meatballs on account of my wife not eating bacon, those were superb as well.Go in, sit down, be amazed. The ladies that run around are part of the show with their skill and ease of managing the tables. We're not close enough, otherwise this would be one of frequent visits.OH, and don't forget to finish your visit with the lemon curd tart.Parking: It's not in front of the door but just a few doors down there's a paid parking lot, a few more doors there's another, also paid parking along the street.Kid-friendliness: If your kids are easy eaters and will eat what's I the menu, it could work, but it's not a place I'd necessarily bring my kids. The food and drinks are the entertainment and the restaurant doesn't necessarily provide a lot of extra stimulation for kids to stay occupied.

Another magnificent evening. Cozy, intimate atmosphere, attentive staff, and remarkable tapas. Wine menu is moderately extensive and easy to navigate but ask for recommendations. Chef creates a wonderful array of fresh tastes and the staff are eager to create a dining experience that puts your needs front and center.

A small eatery hidden on 104 street, this tapas and wine bar did not disappoint. The place was busy and bustling but service was fast and attentive, the food delicious and generous in portions, and there were plenty of options considering the size of the menu. Each dish came with a fresh eating plate with the servers describing the dish to remind you what you were about to eat. The flavors were well balanced in each dish. We got three dishes and the downtown dining week special (4 menu items that would be meant for a single person) that was going on and it was very filling for our party of 3. Be sure to make a reservation as it can get busy.

Can't say enough about this great place. The ownership and staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and sweet. You can tell that they genuinely care and are very proud their product and your experience. Very impressed with their attention to detail. Will definitely be back!

I found this restaurant to be incredibly average. The service was great, but it was very overpriced for what it is. I got the paella, the bacon, falafel, salad, and potatoes. The paella had grizzle in it, and the flavor wasn’t great. The bacon had too much bacon to the point where any more than one bite is too rich. The potatoes were literally a tiny plate of breakfast hash browns that you could get for $5 at any breakfast spot and they were really salty, $14.50 for not even a whole potatoes worth of hash browns?! Luckily the salad and the falafel were good though! I did not like the tiny atmosphere, my legs kept hitting the table and people kept brushing up behind me constantly because the restaurant is so small. My partner and I were disappointed with this place and will not be back.

It only took 7+yrs to check this place out and I’m kicking myself for not going sooner! I totally understand why I had to book a reso 6 weeks out ! Small space but cozy! Very friendly service from every single interaction. The kitchen to which I failed to take a photo of was my favourite part of the space. Open kitchen concept by the window made you feel like you were in a bustling metropolis in a city much bigger than Edmonton. Shrimp were big and flavoured perfectly with a light curry. A highlight for everyone at the table. Steak melt in your mouth with the mushrooms! Bacon signature dish was salty and sweet. The wine was nicely paired with the meal with the price point being average. Overall the friends from Calgary that were in town were blown away. I’ll be coming back to try more of the menu sooner than later. Especially the option where you opt in for whatever the chef decides to cook. Tell him your dislikes and allergies then your meal is a surprise. Next time!Worth every penny!

The food is delectable---each and every tapas style plate was beautifully prepared, interesting flavours, never predictable. The service equals and /or exceeds the food. Kelsey's focus on each diner is remarkable. Its visibly important to her that everyone is feeling sublime.

What a wonderful experience. Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was lovely and warm. Definitely recommend Tzin for a great date night. We did the feed me option and loved every dish they brought, especially the paella (picture).

Another incredible dinner and wine experience at Tzin. Kelsey and Robin provided incredible service far above anything we had experienced - and that was in addition to the delicious and beautifully presented tapas. We could not have imaged a better evening. Thank you - we cant wait to come back.

I've been going to Tzin for years. It's my go to place and I've never left disappointed. While the drinks and food are amazing (we recommend the Caesar's and, of course, THE BACON), I mainly enjoy coming because they make you feel at home as soon as you enter. I've had the same server each time I've been there and I can't say enough nice things about her. Kelsey is a staple at Tzin. She's the beautiful lady with the cute bun. If you've been to Tzin, then I guarantee you have met her and can attest for what am amazing server she is! Knowledgeable and attentive. And just just such a warm personality. Like I said, she really makes a person feel right at home there. The restaurant itself is quite small, but I love it. Adds to the charm and overall experience! Defintiely check it for your next date night or even wine night with the girls!
