Food was kind of bland. Most of the menu was unavailable. The portions are ridiculously small for the price. Requested a jerk chicken with curry goat gravy on my rice and I think I got a table spoon of gravy. Two bites of coleslaw, a smile slice of fried plantain and 2 dry pieces of chicken. For $27 after tax + tip. I love Jamaican food but not enough to get ripped off.

Visiting from out of town and was very disappointed by the food I received.

“Food” like this is a disgrace to my culture. Whoever they have cooking in the kitchen is an enemy to the business. Chicken dry, oxtail dry, rice salty. There is absolutely no pride/love in the food. I will not be returning to this establishment because they have gotten too comfortable making bad food.

The food is never consistent in taste and flavour. The first time I ordered it was so delicious and since returning the food has never been the same. Unfortunately, I will not be reordering.
I got the oxtail which was really dry. It seems as if they cook it outside of the gravy and added it in afterwards. Way too sugary.
Also bought a stew chicken which was also on the drier side. It was more like a baked chicken in my opinion.
What a terrible establishment! The owners response truly shows they cannot take constructive criticism and they lack much accountability and respect for their customers. Good Riddance!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!
As in the food, staff, manners..
In the Caribbean, we do not burn the hell out of dishes and call it cuisine!!
From the main entrees to the pastries & desserts, everything was burnt beyond recognition and taste.
Jerk chicken was a JOKE--more like jerky.
Coconut drops almost broke my damn teeth on it.
You could SEE the once beautiful pieces of coconut scorched to death..ROCK HARD & blacker than black.
Grater cakes were solid blocks of sugar with a hint of coconut!!
This establishment is not authentic in any way.
There is no LOVE in this food whatsoever--an insult to the Caribbean culture. SHAME ON YOU.
We threw out our food immediately & washed our mouth out at Sauce--now that is love and pride in every bite.

I ordered through tgtg on sep.7 and it available starting at 6 to 7:30pm i show up at 7:15pm and the door was locked and i already paid for my tgtg surprise box, and on the door it said that they would be gone from sep.8-9 i am confused.
Hands down the best Jamaican food in Edmonton! We had the fried chicken and oxtail and everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. Highly highly recommend for excellent Jamaican cuisine in Edmonton.
Ordered 2 jerk chicken meals. One with rice and plantain and the other with just fried dumplings, plantain and fritter. The food was definitely subpar. Super salty. The chicken was salty, fritter was hard. Tasted as though it was re-warmed a couple of times. Had to throw it out couldn't even chew it and the fried dumplings were good but it's hard to mess up dumplings and the plantains were dry. This restaurant is very hit and miss some days with their food.
