“Had the Carrot Cake and Vanilla Strip.

The Vanilla Strip - Was very well presented a very good photo worthy desert. Both the vanilla cream and jam that were in the sandwich were quite good and not overly sugary, just the right balance. Would approach it with a fork cause eating it by hand made quite the mess and squished the contents put the sides.

The Careot Cake - Very goes cream cheese icing that carried the cake itself. The spiced cake portion was more subtle than I like, but that's personal preference.

Staff was very nice and thoughtful, laying my cake paper toward the Strip so as not to have them come together and mix.”

“Appreciated that the fries and gravy from the poutine were good, and were also hot. It doesn't come with cheese curds, which was a bit of a let down, but tasted okay. The person was helpful and friendly. Decor is clean, albeit dated.”

“Everything was good. Food was fresh. We were presently surprised by this small town Chinese restaurant. We are used to big city Chinese and wasn't expected the small town one is good. But this was a good surprise. Will go again.”

If you're looking for a brand new Chinese restaurant, this isn't the place for you. What makes this place SO special is the owners, the charm that their historical building brings, and all the stories it holds.
