I recently dined at Eagle Ridge Eatery and Café in Fort McMurray and had a mixed experience. 

Chicken Taco: The taste was quite bland, lacking depth and originality. While the corn tortilla had a neat texture, the overall combination of lettuce and sauce was too simple. It needed a touch of citrus, some aromatics, and perhaps pickled carrots or cabbage for a bit of crunch. The cherry tomatoes were also not the best choice for this dish.

What a wonderful cafe!! I have been there a few times and always had a great experience. Breakfast there was amazing we loved it! The waitress that is usually there is so sweet and kind. Definitely will be going back sometime soon. Thanks a lot ?

I always loved this place, but lately the service is very poor, typically a wallet out on the table with a card on top is a signal for the server to bring the machine/bill. Not only is the food a longer wait than it used to be, but 4 times in a row I was left waiting for ~20minutes with an empty plate and wallet ready. I'm assuming they have someone new, not used to the Canadian service industry working for a low wage and it shows.. one quick brunch dish shouldn't be...
