Very fast service & the food is excellent!
My son and I went last night for a supper date! This is the first time we went to The Fish Place in a few years. The food and service was amazing! We will definitely not be staying away as long next time around!

The Fish Place offers good food without being fancy, featuring a standout quality of staff who provide exceptional service. This family-oriented restaurant is cozy and clean, though some might find it a little dated. It is accommodating, assisting customers with special needs, such as providing help with coat removal and offering to cut food into manageable portions. Breakfast portions are huge, and the food is on point, with outstanding dishes like fish with poutine, crab stuffed mushrooms, and homemade fries with thick gravy. The fish is fresh and flavorful, with options like the “can’t decide” halibut & cod, which allows customers to enjoy both. The mussels in white wine sauce are also highly recommended. The staff is friendly, cheerful, quick, and efficient, often going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. For instance, one server remembered a customer’s drink and kindly brought a fresh pot of mussels when the first wasn’t as good as before. Even when served near closing time, the restaurant continues to provide excellent service. The drinks are served ice cold in chilled mugs, although there is no draft beer. The atmosphere is enhanced by neat art and decor, making it reminiscent of a coastal restaurant. Overall, The Fish Place delivers everything expected from a fish restaurant, but with an even better touch.
