We dined in at Original Joe’s in Grande Prairie this Sunday afternoon, and the experience was disappointing. It’s clear they were short-staffed, but the service really suffered. We weren’t given any utensils, had to ask for drink refills multiple times and still didn’t get them — ended up going to the bar ourselves. Our food took a long time to arrive as well. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and overall, the experience felt disorganized. Definitely not the level of service we expected.

Servers act like you're non existent. We asked three times for a drink to three different staff members and nothing comes.
I have never seen the place so disorganized and disrespectful to their patrons. We will be going elsewhere.

Not a bad place at all. Staff are always friendly, and the location itself is clean and quite spacious, with a decent selection of food and drinks. I personally have never been disappointed, and I would give it 5 stars, but I think the prices are a bit high—especially when you get much more for less at competing places like Montana's, The Old Trapper, The Den, and so on. Because of this I would only advise getting drinks as those are much more reasonable.

There was a last minute change for our staff lunch and we showed up at Joe's, they were able to accommodate a table for 10. All pur meals were tasty, service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for this rare occasion.
