SOTO Teppanyaki and Fusion Sushi

I would like to commend the team in this restaurant. I had an incident where I was charged twice on my cc and the manager ( forgot her name was) went above and beyond to find me. As soon as I went back to their restaurant, they were all very accommodating and were very apologetic for what happened and gave me my refund. Didn’t need to talk much coz they fixed it right away. Korine was fantastic in assisting me, the food was great too! Well done Soto GP!

Ok let’s talk. I love the live cooking aspect. But that’s just about it. Way too expensive for the quantity of food received. My wife ordered some chicken and shrimp $66 and was still hungry. And if you saw a picture of my wife you’d understand that it doesn’t take much to make her full. Went for the experience but would never go back.

Hair in food and owner did nothing the server was so sweet she told us to keep hair on plate so owner can see the hair for herself because owner will not believe waitress very sad will not be going back

Server was disrespectful. Treated us differently from others. Highly disappointed, this is our first time experiencing this type of behavior, and it's been multiple times that I eaten here.

Well, what can I say… This Teppanyaki felt like the AliExpress version of a Japanese grill — looks fancy in the photos, but what you get is “some assembly required.” Paid $50 (before tip and tax) and still went home hungry enough to raid the fridge.

The chef tried doing a little performance — let’s just say, I’ve seen better moves from my smoke alarm when I cook stir-fry.
Food? Meh. I can make the same thing at home in my $20 wok from Walmart.

On the bright side, my wife liked the sushi — so at least one of us left happy.
Atmosphere and service? Below average. Overall, not worth the price tag. I won’t be back unless they start serving free refills on food.

The best sushi place in town! Lots of variety and the sushi is consistently good. Whether you're dining in or picking up, you won't be disappointed. I am pretty picky with sushi and have tried lots of places in town and I keep coming back to Soto.

For the last five years we have never once been disappointed by the menu or the quality of the food.

It's a decent restaurant dont get me wrong. But Im going to base this review solely on the sushi and not the teppanyaki menu. It's pretty expensive for what you're getting. If you're looking for the best sushi in GP I suggest Prairie Sushi, best sushi around for sure and at a better price.

Never helped me when my order was wrong which unfortunately I always go here but this one time they didn't do the order correct and I ended up having to just eat the wrong order I never ordered. Which was a dissipointment considering I go here every week for my same order. I will be trying other choices people have mentioned to me. I wish they made it right but unfortunately they refused to and I ended up eating and paying for something I did not order.....
