The Office Reviews
First time customer (730pm on a saturday). Buffet review only. Staff was good however gave no guidance to how the buffet worked even after directly asking.
Quality mediocure. Food not worth it. Unless you just want Pasta from a giant cheese wheel... even then the cheese is the only thing you'll taste.
Made to order pizza is just dried up toppings placed on a partially baked base.
Salads were good when fresh.
The pre-made dishes for the buffet were 100% better...read full review

Went with family for The Office's pasta night. Very good food experience. $32 person for a wide selection of Italian salads, soup, cheeses, mussels and cold cuts as appetizers, followed by create your own pizza or create your own pasta (pick your noodle type and create your own sauce) and then hit the desert table. Service was very good. Reservations recommended, especially on a Saturday night.
Ample parking. Volume can get loud. Not a romantic date location.

Our family had the buffet and it was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and would definitely go back!

The Office, located in the Pomeroy Hotel, offers a cozy dining area that makes guests forget they are in a hotel lobby. The service is outstanding, with friendly and accommodating servers who provide exceptional customer service. The Peach Bellini and Malibu Sunrise drinks are highly recommended. For entrees, the Pan-seared Chicken and Linguine Meatballs are delicious and generously portioned. The restaurant also serves as the breakfast place for hotel guests, offering varied options that cater to different tastes. The brunch buffet is highly recommended, featuring a variety of vegetarian options such as couscous, pasta salad, Basa, coconut jasmine rice, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, soup, and kale bean salad. The sides are particularly praised by guests. The restaurant is easily accessible next to the Grande Prairie Mall, which offers free parking. While the food and service are generally impressive, some guests have expressed concerns about feeling rushed and not welcomed. In particular, some visitors were disappointed with the steak, noting it lacked seasoning despite being cooked perfectly medium rare. However, management has been proactive in addressing these issues, showcasing professionalism and commitment to improvement. Overall, The Office remains a great choice for any meal, with top-notch food and service, including a popular Italian Night featuring fresh pasta made right in front of guests.
